P2G driver

Summary:
I bought the P2G driver head on eBay because I got a very good price ($30), and because it is a clone of the Ping G2 driver that I wanted to try. I put a Maltby Golfworks CER70 graphite shaft on the P2G head. The driver cost me less than $50 total to put together. I just hit it for the first time on the driving range; I was pleased with the results. With the large 460 cc head, it is difficult to miss a shot badly. I hit the P2G along with my Zevo Compressor driver, which I like very much. The P2G seemed to give me about the same distance as the Zevo (my swing speed is about 100 mph with good drives at about 250 yards). I would say that the accuracy of my shots was about the same as usual -- I think more a function of my swing than of the club. Overall, this is a good solid driver that performs well and can be had quite cheaply.

Customer Service:
I haven't needed or used customer service. The driver head was bought from a third party.

Similar Products Used:
Zevo Compressor, Callaway C4, various Golfsmith drivers, a couple of Knight drivers.

P2G

Summary:
Got this given the hype around the G2 which was seen in almost every bag of the top players at my local club. Well, the P2G has all the characteristics of the G2 without the price, so ebay i went, airmail it came. Fitted it to a Harrison Pro2.5 SL50 Reg with a jumbo grip...all done with the objective of keeping the wrist quiet. Hitting my longest drives ever now! Best thing is that my swing speed is a modest 90mph and I outdrive fellers going at close to 100mph.

Things I like:
+ Very tall face
+ Fairly pleasant sounding on impact
+ Very forgiving on off centre hits
+ Suits a less wristy swing

Things I wish it had:
- Lighter, weighed in at 203g head alone
- More accurate loft measures...i also have an 11.5 which looks less lofted than my 10.5
- More longevity...no thanks to Ping's G5,

Customer Service:
None, other than that the heads came to me in decent time via airmail. Did not really like the fact that the lofts and weights were quite different from specs.

P2G

Summary:
Similar to other larger heads but looks cool. Nothing really kewl, just average. I would recommend this club to high handcappers that want a beater club to learn on. Others to try: Integra, Oxygen, Acer, Golf Smith, XPC.... I have a stiff flex Distance Master shaft with a club length of 43.5". I have driven (wind aided) 310+ yards. I would say I average 290 or so. The face is USGA legal allowing amplified slice, hook or distance. I have since sold it to a friend. 4 stars because it can be expensive and it is not much different than most 460cc drivers out there.

Customer Service:
Never used
