Description At 450cc, the W-506 is also the most forgiving driver we’ve ever created with a larger elliptical hitting zone that extends from high toe to low heel matching the common strike patterns of all golfer...
Summary: Great club for the price!!! So here's a "to the point" story of the last 4 months. Was swinging older Calloway ERC Fusion 9 deg/reg shaft started getting the "yips", slicing it and only hit it about 250. Demoed Sumo, Titleist, Cobra, Maxfli Crossbax, Calloway, Cleveland. Liked Sumo the best but didn't want to pay $300. Went to local driving range, saw Srixon, demoed. LOVED IT!!! 260 in air, straight. Wasn't sold yet so read 30-40 reviews and agreed with most positive ones. Saw that one guy bought his on Ebay. Got on Ebay, bought for $121 and some change on Ebay. Best golf purhase I have made to this day. So far have played 3 rounds with it. Straight shots, effortless to hit. Almost drove 320 yard green (ground was really hard though). Bought 10.5 deg/stiff shaft. Might not be right for everyone but my 107 mph swing (from Dick's simulator) says this is the right club for me for the money.
Customer Service: Have not used Customer Service, probably won't because I bought club on Ebay.
Similar Products Used: Demoed Sumo, Titleist, Cobra, Maxfli Crossbax, Calloway, Cleveland. I use Srixon AD-333 balls, Cobra FP irons (great clubs also) Calloway 4+ wood. Odyseey 2-Ball putter.

Summary: Had the W-302 for a couple years and liked it. I figured it was time to move up to the big boys. And since I liked the older Srixon, the newer one was a logical choice. Got it cheap on eBay, brand new with Mitsubishi Rayon bassara stiff shaft, 9.5 loft.
I have to admit, I'm not as happy with this one. I really didn't get any extra distance, if any, from the old one. It has a pretty low trajectory which is unusual for me, I tend to hit a higher ball. I seem to have to tee the ball up pretty high, but that is probably the same with all the 460cc heads.
The positive with this club is I do get decent distance with off-center hits. I was just really surprised how much distance I DIDN'T get on well-struck shots. I didn't particularly like the feel of it either.
The one identifiable problem that might affect my performance with this club is the shaft in mine is a half-inch or inch shorther most other standard shafts.
I've had it for about 4 rounds and I'm looking for something new.
Overall not a terrible club, can get it cheap, forgiving, pretty hard to hit them WAY off line, but not much extra distance and the feel wasn't to my liking.

Summary: Looked for a replacement for my cracked Wilson DD5 which I was very happy with. Bought the club on ebay for less than 100$ after reading reviews on this site and thought it might fit my game. It did! It feels great and the slightly closed feel of the club head gives me a lot of confidence since I was fighting with a slice recently (getting older and the turn isn't anymore what it used to be!) playing it for almost a year now and could not be happier.Got a 10.5 loft first and got me a 9.5 as well (same great deal), playing them alternately depending on the wind condition on our challenging course. I love the dry and crisp sound on impact compared to some newer design that sound like you hit the ball with an empty water bottle. Very forgiving and easy to hit, and since I take accuracy over distance anytime, this is my club!

Summary: Mine has a V2 S flex, hoped it was the answer. It wasn't. Hard to get in the air, not very long, not very good feel. Loft is 9*, maybe that is part of the problem. Was not impressed.

Summary: Have been using this Srixon driver for over 12 months after using a Srixon 403 before that. I tested the big names before purchasing the Srixon 506 and it has been fantastic for me. I am happy with accuracy and length that I get .Would highly recommend this relatively "cheap" driver about the expensive ones. As I bought in brand new for $100 it was an absolute bargain!
