Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Walter Hagen 460H Driver Summary: This is a review of the Hagen 460 driver. A gem for under $200. This driver has a 460 head and Aldila Pro-65 regular flex graphite shaft, all standard equipment.
I have the unique opportunity to demo a variety of clubs. For me, this was top choice for the dollar value as well as performance. The others that I tried were very good as well, at least when I hit them well.
I often hear the word "forgiving" in many of these reviews. I don't know about that. I think the best way to a good shot is to hit it properly. I did not find any of the drivers I tested all that "forgiving". Now, there are certainly distance issues, but I truly believe a top pro could take any club and make it look good.
This Hagen worked well for me. The shaft is terrific. If you can hit a $400. Calloway or Taylor Made 250 yards straight, you'll do the same with this club, plus have 200 bucks left over. Customer Service: Not needed, yet. Similar Products Used: Calloway, Taylor Made, Nike, Cleveland (I liked alot but more money than I wanted to spend).
