Summary:
I bought this club to try a stiff flex 3 wood, and its stability, ease of alignment and forgiveness has replaced both my MacGregor Reliance Mid Flex 3 wood and my Wilson Deep Red driver.
The RXi Bi-Matrix shaft is remarkably stable through the swing, even if your tempo is less than perfect. Even toe or heel shots stay relatively straight with decent distance. I have saved countless O.B. penalty strokes and lost balls because of this tendancy. Distances are very long; I've been able to get 270+ off the tee, and 230+ off the fairway.
These models are discontinued and, unfortunately, the only ones I've seen at box-store retailers have all graphite shafts. That may not be a bad thing, but I believe the Bi-Matrix shaft gives this club its high marks for stability, forgiveness and distance.

Summary:
A good club but requires you to swing very smoothly. I bought this club because I needed something to sandwhich in between my 1 iron and driver. Was hoping to get about 250 out of this. I get pretty close to that but you have to swing slowly. Trying to rip it produces some ugly results. Admittingly, probably the fault of the swing and not the club. All and all a good fairway wood for those seeking something a little stronger than your typical 20* fairway wood.

Summary:
Great fairway wood.
I used to be afraid to hit these clubs from the fairway. Not any more.

I found this club quite forgiving, despite its small looking head (I believe it's 165 cc). Have never hit a three wood this long and this straight before. I actually liked it better than the feel of the Adams Tight Lies GT model.

Summary:
Admittedly, having not played these beforehand, the low price was the determining factor to try these 2000 model fairway woods. I'm oh so glad I did!

The ST has a crisp, snappy feel due to the solid feel of the steel clubhead and the apparent stability of the True Temper BiMatrix Rxi shaft. In my opinion, the club, in either the R or S flex, is for mid to mid-high swingspeeds. Slower swings might find it difficult to get an optimal amount of distance/trajectory.

The face is taller than the Original Tight Lies and therefore easier to hit out of deeper rough; the ST, like its older brother, remains easy to play out of "tight lies." The 13° 3-wood is excellent from the teebox.

Summary:
Love this club. Just bought the 3 wood as well. Buy one for yourself. A great bargain for what you get. Very forgiving and allowed me to get my first eagle ever on a par 5. Two 5 woods to within a foot of the hole. Very acurate wood.
