Model Reviewed:
INT EST Model 042

Summary:
I purchased this only for one reason...it has a graphite face. You can call it a driving iron perhaps...

I'm just not sure why I would want this in the bag, if I have a 5w that will accomplish the same thing and thensome.

If anything, I would call this a wannabe 2 iron for guys like me that don't have the swing speed, yet, to be able to play a shots like a 2 iron.

With the right shaft, this thing is straight as string. The distance is what really cooks my noodles. Longer than I ever imagined it. Perhaps it simple is a 2 iron on steroids.

It like a girl, that isn't quite your cup of tee...yet, she performs on a whole different level than what I'm accustomed to.

Odd thing...in the sweetspot area, there are no scoring lines...ok, duh...thus the straight flight... I get it.

For my game (or lack thereof) it is great when you have a runup shot to the green from 210s and have to thread the needle, and a fairway wood is too inaccurate and there is no 2, 3 or 4 iron in the bag.

For the length, straight flight and very strong trajectory, I give this sniper rifle a high overall rating. For the value or such an item, that may be used perhaps twice on a course and 2.

The closest club that I've used that is the closest, is the Yonex Boronwood II 5w & The Vintage Taylormade Pittsburgh Persimmon 13*.
