Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Honma LB-606 New H & F 4 Star Summary: I purchased this set used from Shintan Golf on Ebay and it was stated that this set was $12,000 new. I think this fact isn't true. Does anyone know the actual MSRP of these clubs when new?
I like the clubs, however, you must be very deliberate with them.

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: LB-606 cavity Summary: I had purchased individual Honma irons prior to making a full-set purchase. I tried the LB-280 and the new LB-280, both of which I found to be excellent. But I noticed that the LB-606 carried a slightly more modest price tag in the used market and I bought a full set with two star shafts and gold emblems for quite a bit less than the one star versions of any of the 280's (Cavity, new and H & F). I am in no way disappointed! The LB-606 short irons are effortless to strike and dial in with real precision. The shaft flex and weight encourage an easy swing that has a soft click upon contact. The trajectory is quite high and the ball seems to stop almost upon contact with the green. The head size grows smaller into the long irons and is a trifle less forgiving but that might help in keeping focused (in my case anyway). I am hitting the 606's (10 to 15 yards) longer than the 280's which I don't understand since the loft and lies are the same on both sets. I have owned very forgiving clubs such as Taylor Made RAC CGB's and non-forgiving clubs by Precept. For my game the LB-606's are the perfect in-between. I find the wider soles of super game-improvement irons to be difficult to get under the ball on close-cropped dry fairways. The narrow bottom of the Honmas makes clean contact at dirt level and is more valuable to me than forgiveness from the rough. I have made my first full-set purchase of Honma irons, but hopefully not my last. Customer Service: NA Similar Products Used: Taylor Made, Dunlap, Precept, Wilson, Cobra
