Traditional irons force a different swing action with every club. With Horizon irons you have the same swing for every shot. Horizon irons have a pro...
Summary: Simply the best iron I have tried in years. However, there are not any locations where you can purchase. There isn't even a phone number available.
Customer Service: none available
Similar Products Used: I have purchased most of the top brands in the last few years. I usually purchase three to five sets a year

Summary: Bought some Pings from a local course pro shop. Had hit a few of Mr Hsien's 5 irons for comparison. The Pings just did not feel "perfect" yet. Asked the local pro and assistant pro what they hit, and they both muttered "Horizons". I asked why they sold me Pings then, and they smiled and said "because you asked for them". Returned the Pings, and got the 5 start stainless clubs from Horizon. Scores dropped by about 11 strokes average per round. The clubs simply feel great and are fun to swing again. About a year passes, and along came an opportunity to upgrade to different metal compounds. I traded in the old set, and got the newer bronze cast look, and the scores dropped again. With the method of sizing used, a replacement club can be ordered from anywhere in the world, and Jimmy can fire off an overnight express club the next day.
Customer Service: I played golf with the designer and owner, Jimmy, one day. The number of phone calls he got from pros, and other outfitters was amazing. He took notes, and after the round went to his shop, and created two clubs for customers who had either misplace, or "left" them on the grass for the landscapers to play with. His dedication to the game of golf was amazing, and his playing skills ranked among the best I've ever known. I'll have a hard time getting new clubs, since moving to Florida, but it would be worth the effort to travel to California for a fitting anytime.
Similar Products Used: Tried Taylor Mades, Pings, Titilest and Mizuno's. No comparison really. The effort and strict tolerances cannot be duplicated by the "big boys".

Summary: I finally decided to check out Horizon after seeing their ads. I bought my present set with me, i filled out a questionaire about my golf background, and took measurements of my hand, while i did this the owner James Hsien took measurements of my clubs which included length, lie angle, swing weight, shaft flex to name a few. He surprised me by picking out which clubs i hit he best and the ones i hit poorly, he was right! Jim explained why he took the measurents and how they effect your swing. I tried one of his demo 5 iron, it felt great but was still skeptical, so i bought one club, the worst one in my bag. I could not believe the difference a properly fitted club makes. I gained 15 yards in distance, hit the ball higher and straighter. 2 weeks later i bought one more club to see if really was the club. Yes it was, same results I ended up buying the complete set of irons. Have been playing Horizon for 3 years and will not play any other club, becaue of the strict tolerences Jim uses in assembling his clubs he is a perfectionist, he triple checks his clubs before the customer recieves them, all manufactures should be this consistent. Does this sound like i'm happy with Horizon, you better believe it. If you want to have more fun playing golf you owe to yourself to check out Horizon.
Customer Service: the great thing about Horizon is their customer service. I does not matter if you buy one club or the whole set, Jim will bend over backwards to correct any problem you may have, he even wants you to return to him in a month just to make sure you are not having problems with your clubs and this lasts for as long as you own your clubs, Try calling the CEO, of Taylor Made, Titelist, Callaway etc. and say your having problems with your clubs can you help me. Jim is very knowledgeable of equipment and the golf swing
Similar Products Used: there are no similar products, other companies claim to custom fit, but horizon is the only true custom club fitter.
