Summary:
I just bought a bunch of the XL-3000 Super feels on close out for dirt cheap ($50 for 90 new balls). I bought them for back yard practice balls, but I'm pretty impressed with them especially given the cheap close out pricing. They compare favorably in both distance & feel with most of the other 2 piece soft core balls, DT SoLo, Noodle, Mojo, Loco, Pinnale Gold etc. at half the cost. I also belive that the TF Infinity Buttery feel is the exact same ball with a different name on it.

Although they are soft and have a reasonable good feel, they are not high spin balls, so don't buy these thinking that you'll be dropping and stopping them on the greens.

I don't think that low handicappers will like this ball, but for mid & high handicappers if you can still find left overs (many places still have then for around $10 / 15 ball box) this ball is a steal. If you can't find the XL-3000s try the Infinity Buttery Feel they are also available fairly cheap on closeout.

Summary:
This is a really great ball. Has all the characteristics of a top balll but the price. I have used these in comps and find them to be as good as a premium in every way under normal conditions. Off the driver they are awesome. Solid feel and HEAPS longer than any premium ball. Longer with the irons and have a nice high ball flight with good stopping power on normal greens. Check up enough around the greens if their not too fast and feel very nice off the putter. These balls are supposed to be designed for slow swingers but respond well to fast swing speeds and do not feel mushy like other lo compression balls. The strike is solid but soft on all clubs through the bag. The only slight criticism I have is when the course is fast and hard. They don't stop as well as top premium balls on hard, fast greens, especially when chipping. I would reccomend these balls for players of all levels for all but the 4 weeks or so when your club champs are on and the course is set up like a professional tournament. Other tha hten these are the best balls available. The low price is justa bonus

I agree with eerie, these balls are hard to beat, and the fact that they are so affordable is a bonus.
They fly long and have great "hop and stop" on the greens. I've tried Pro-V1's and DT-Solo's and I can't tell the difference, except at the cash register.
In fact on one occasion I played a small executive 9 hole course and played an XL 3000 and a Pro-V1 on all 9 holes and shot three strokes better with the XL 3000 and on 2 of the 3 par four holes the XL 3000 out drove the Pro-V1.
I believe a lot more people would play this ball but they can't stomach the fact that they aren't shooting a Titleist or some other big name ball. There is the stigma that you can't possibly be all that good and shoot a top-flite.
I even had a hard time with it myself, I wanted to be "Cool" like my other golf buddies and shoot Pro-V1"s but the fact is that this ball is just as good and costs less than half, you can't go wrong by at least trying these out.

With today's technological advancements in club design and composition, ball selection does make a difference! To elevate my game and bring it to a level where I shoot constantly in the low 80's and often break into the upper 70's, I have found a need to match my ball striking capabilities and my equipment with the correct golf ball. I have found that in the Top Flight XL3000 SF. It has an excellent feel without sacrificing distance.

Using this ball, I feel confident in shaping a ball to match a hole’s design and attacking a pin with a risk reward placement. The ball is responsive off of the clubface and provides just enough spin not to veer off course. When hitting an approach shot or chipping onto a green it checks up well. The ball was designed to give good distance for a golfer with a slower club head speed at impact. I have found that establishing a moderate swing tempo while using this ball has actually improved my overall distance and has dramatically improved my accuracy, thus lowering my scores. Lets face it, 250 yards in the fairway is better then 280 yards in the rough, woods, sand or water.

In my opinion, this ball most closely resembles the Precept Lady, Maxfli Noodle and Titleist DT-Solo in overall feel and performance. The one factor that sets it aside is price! You can purchase 15 Topflight XL3000’s at Walmart for $12.96, where the other brands are going to cost you anywhere from $20.00 - $25.00 per dozen. Thus, making the Topflight XL3000 Super Feel a better ball for the money.

If you are looking for a ball with good feel and don’t want to sacrifice distance, try the Topflight XL3000 Super Feel. I believe that you will be impressed with its overall performance. Besides, at ,75 cents per ball, loosing one hurts a lot less then loosing a Pro V1 or Tour Accuracy.
