Summary: If you have read my nike super far and super soft reviews than you would know that I have many different kinds of nike balls and test them weekly. I have interesting input on this ball. Other reviewers have said that this ball was hard, well mabe it is my swing or something because this is very soft. It does have 3 layers which would make it soft anyways at least a little bit. These balls aren't like other tour balls. Unusually soft and easier to hit and im just a junior! I don't get how a thirty year old can't smack this. Just like the Nike Distance Super Soft, it thuds off the face and doesn't click, which also means it's soft. But this ball was designed for the tour so it is also long. You know what thins means! A killer combination! These are also "contol" balls which means placement and accuracy comes to ease. Well that joins the party and all of the other features to make a dominating golf ball. It's 2005 and this ball is retired so really look out for this because the chances of you finding it is slim. I found it in K-Mart which buys a stock of balls and people slowly buy them over the years. And they still have the Double Cs from yrs ago. I bought some for 21 bucks in all quarters. The casheir laughed at me. Anyways this ball is tremendous and dont let anyone tell you different. If you have some lying around then consider using them again with new confidence in them. You will play better. So overall, the best retired ball i have played so far, buy it if you can still find it.

Model Reviewed: Nike Double C Tour
Summary: I've been trying to find a ball that I can play regularly. Recently I tried the Noodle Spin and Nike Super Soft. The Double C Tour is LONG. Of the 3 the Noodle does the best job of stopping on the green but is the shortest. The Super Soft is longer than the Noodle but feels a little harder. The Double C Tour shocked me with how long it carries. It's a little harder to control than the Super Soft but markedly longer. I will be playing the Tour from now on and they were only $16 a dozen.

Summary: not a fan. short, not a great feel. the ta2 lng or spn is substantially longer (15 yards for me) with better feel. i won't be buying a second box, even at 20/box. . .

Model Reviewed: Nike Double C Tour
Summary: When I purchased my Nike blades last year, I felt the need to purchase Nike balls for some reason. I'm a HUGE fan of the Strata TU's but I wanted to give Nike a try since the clubs are like budda! I tried the Nike TA's and wasn't impressed with the durability of the cover. I trid the Double C Tours and found great length off the driver but found it harder to manage around the greens. If you shoot for the pins and prefer to release your balls on the greens from 150yards and in, this is the ball for you. If you pin search, like I can't help but do, it's much harder to stop it on a dime. I think Nike has something here but something makes me think that they're draining the market and will come out with something that gets great distance, one hope and stop on greens and is durable. Putts well though.
I like the Double C Tour. For value, I give it 5 stars for price and performance. I give it 4 stars overall because of it's low to medium spin rate off short irons/wedges. It just doesn't fit my natural, aggressive, pin seeking game! I've got to go back to Strata... Waiting to play the new product lines...

Model Reviewed: Double "C" Tour
Summary: These are great mid priced alternatives to the Tour Accuracy. These are basically Nike's answer to the NXT distance and tour and boy did they answer!
The Tour version is a great ball that has a nice blend of softness and distance. Like the TA it putts very well, spins very well and goes plenty far. It is a great feel ball, the best for under $30.00 I have found. I feel liek both of the NXT's were more distance oriented than feel and the Nike's vice versa.
In my opinion there is not a better feel/control ball out there for under $30.00.
