RAC OS

Summary:
I am not a fanatical golfer and typically play about 4 to 6 rounds of golf a year. My best round was a 96 and have only broken a 100 a few times. After player with my Mizuno MX-15 the previous 4 years (which I grew to loath) I wanted a change. So after seeing the RAC OS on sale and after reading a few reviews I bought the clubs about a year ago.

When playing with any new clubs I have always found there was an adjustment period and there was no difference with the RAC OS. I don’t go to the driving range often so it’s trial under fire so to speak. Initially I was having a bit of trouble hitting the ball cleanly and I was even more inconsistent than normal. But even from the start, when I hit it right, my distance was much improved. On the range I use to hit my Mizuno 5 iron between 150 – 160 yards. After 7 rounds with my RAC OS irons, on the range, I was consistently hitting my 7 iron the same distance with a lot more height.

Now on the course I am still hitting the ball too fat too often for my liking, and I am still too inconsistent with my long irons, especially with my 3. But even after only 7 rounds with these clubs I have never hit my 9 – 5 irons longer, higher and more consistently. So even for the occasional golfer like myself I would highly recommend these clubs.

Summary:
These clubs are great. I bought them used from golfers warehouse for about 130 bucks! Unbelievable deal. They are forgiving, feel great, and I hit them straight. I recommend these clubs to anyone, no matter your handicap.

TaylorMade RAC OS

Summary:
I am a beginner who is just starting to hit the fairway. Was using my dad's old lynx predator blades but felt it was too old for me. The technology was outdated and not a good set for beginners. So decided to buy 2nd hand TM RAC OS from ebay. At first had to get used to the bigger heads since i have been using the blades for a while. However, when i started hitting it square, the balls went far and straight, i mean really straight. It was much easier to hit the balls with these irons and does maintain some feel and feedback but not as much as the blades. The RAC OS gives me confidence that i can hit the ball straight regularly without any worries. Highly recommended for beginners who wants to have consistent straight ball flight. Have not learned to work the ball yet so this suits me fine.

Summary:
Had been playing Ping Eye 2's for last 15 years. Bought these a few weeks ago and was very impressed the first time I played with them. I picked up about 10 yards and noticed that these clubs are very forgiving. Almost had a hole in one the first time I played with them. Considering I picked them up for about $300 what a great bargain. Seem like a great club for mid-level golfers

Summary:
I just traded in my Ping i-10's.
Bye Bye!!! These clubs are sweet and the Pings (for me) were notgiving me a great feel at impact, even though they felt better (by far) than the eye 2's I played. I will say though that I kept the G10 Driver, 3wd, 5wd...very nice and straight. Back to the Rac's...Nut's perfect feeling and long. I have just hit from the mat and hit some off the grass, straight and so comfortable, Man! I can go on and on...Love em' and hope to shave the 10 strokes I leave out there. I would rate these clubs a 10 even though 5 is max here, their that sweet, buy them. Stiff/ steel.
