TA2SPN

Summary:
I truley miss this ball. I don't know why Nike stopped making them. In my opinion this ball is better than the Pro V1. The best trajectory out of 99% of the balls I have tried. Great feel, stops on a dime and loooong. If I could find some(new or used)I would by all I could afford.

TA2 SPIN

Summary:
I bought a sleeve of these balls at sport chek for $9! I tried them alongside the Ta2 lng($9 a sleeve) and Pro v1* ($21 a sleeve). I played two balls of the tee on most holes and noticed that the Ta2 long and spin went about the same distance. The Pro v1 was also about the same. I liked the trajectory of the spin most of all. It had a medium boring trajectory and held in the wind. The long and Pro v1 one had higher trajectorys but the long got lost in wind. While the prov1 stayed relatively on line. Hitting iron shots to the green the spin spinned! Pro v1 dropped and stuck while the long kept going. Around the green I liked the feel of the spin, it felt very similar to the pro v1. The long however had a harder feeling to it (like those horrible topflite distance balls.) The pro v1 and spin are both good balls but when the price for the pro v1 is double and the performance are the same go for the Ta2 spin. The day after that test I bought 4 boxes of Ta2 spn! Its a great ball, and cheap now that the nike ONE is out!

TA2 SPN

Summary:
THESE ARE THE BEST GOLF BALLS ON THE MARKET! I played 18 the other day and I normally shoot in the high 80's low 90's, and I shot an 82. It has great spin and distance control and you will really enjoy it around the greens. It is perfect. When you hit your 9 iron-lob wedge it has really high trajectory so it hits the green and stops or spins back. The only down thing about it is you have to be a long hitter for it to work 100%.

nike ta2 spn

Summary:
Great feel, especially around the greens but did not seem to live up to my expectations. Good trajectory and holds the greens well but does not do well in the wind. For some reason, I had trouble putting with them. Bought another box and had the same problems. They seem to tail off at the end and just bare miss the hole. Switched back to Stratas and the problem went away. Bought a box of TA2 LNG and had the same problem. Maybe I am spoiled by the Stratas, which chip and putt exceptionally well - very consistent around the greens.

Summary:
I did a comparison between my current ball the Maxfli A3 and the TA2 Spin. Played both on the same day. The results were as fallows. The Maxfli is a softer ball then the TA2, It has a softer feel on the driver, Surprisingly the A3 was just as long as the TA2 and at times longer. The TA2 did not handle the wind as well as the A3's it tended to drift off line more. I was really hoping that this ball would give me more yardage, but I guess that Nike is only now catching up to Maxfli Because they say that this the fastest core Nike has EVER produced? But I found that the distance was not as good as the A3. Although it seems to jump off the face of my club for some reason they ended up right next to each other. It does have less spin on the shorter irons which I liked. It made it easy to bump and run. The A3's check too quickly for my liking. But for the price difference of about $8 to $10.00 more for the Nike TA2's I think for now I will stay with the A3's. It just seems to be a better value. BUT I am still looking for a ball that will give me more distance. I would like to try the Pro V1x But I am affraid that I will like them too much, and may have to stop eating to afford them. I guess the search goes on for a good all arround ball that is affordable. Oh yeah the NOODLE is a great ball also, but it flies a little high for me. I think I will try a sleve of the Maxfli M3 on my next outting. Good luck and keep it in the short grass!!
