Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping S59 - zz65 Stiff Shaft Summary: I have never really been a big fan of Ping clubs untill I tried the Ping S59's a friend had. I could not believe how nice they looked at address, with a thin top line (Nearly as thin as my Taylormade RAC TP MB) When you strike the ball with them the feeling is excellent. My 1st set of clubs were Cobra SS Forged, so the S59's Forged gives the same sort of feel. I bought mine 2nd hand from a guy near Mill Hill Golf Club in London. I left his house and went stragith to the Mill Hill course and played 11 holes, and had 4 Birdies. I had forgotten how it felt to hit the green in regulation to give yourself a birdie chance. I have tried tons of clubs and for me these beat the lot. Nice weight and great feeling of the face. Hunt them out and see what I mean ;-) Customer Service: Unknown as bought 2nd hand in London, UK Similar Products Used: I have been playing with Taylormade RAC TP MB (Muscle Back Blades) but for some reason I have lost all confidence with them ....

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping s59 Tour Summary: Bought these on ebay for $320.00, bargain! Found them to be forgiving and so easy to control ball flight and distance. The lighter weight of the zz65 shafts is perfect for generating clubhead speed whilst maintaing control. Highly reccomend for the stronger player. Similar Products Used: Wilson Deep Red Tour, Hogan Apex Plus, Maxfli Australian Blades.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping S59 Summary: wow been playing these for a year tried to switch back to taylormade tungstun titanium bubble irons and old Ping model and there is absolutely no comparison. Easily one of the best irons to look at during address and the feel is incredible. Great feedback. I will not be hitting anything else for quite sometime. Customer Service: Ping is always great Similar Products Used: Taylormade TI bubble 2, Ping Eye 2, Wilson Staff blades (early models), Cobra, and Callaway.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping S59 Summary: Ok, this is my 3rd season with the S59's, and my second set, so I know a little bit about them. My first set was used and had Rifle shafts. I liked them quite a bit, but always found the ball flight to be a bit low for my liking. At the end of last year, I ordered a new set of S59's (it's cool that Ping still offers their classic models) 4-PW with the Ping CS Lite shaft. I absolutely love the feel more so than ever and my ball flight has returned to a mid-high ball flight. Distance control is phenomenal and I really like the traditional lofts. They are not the softest clubs around, but players using these clubs should be hitting the sweet spot the majority of the time. I can't fault the clubs. They look great and perform to the highest standards. I feel they are some of Ping's best irons to date and because they are cast, this set will last me for a loooong time. Customer Service: Ping is great. Similar Products Used: Ping S59's with Rifle shafts, Ping I3's

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping S59 irons Summary: I played Ping ISI-K's prior to these. I liked the feel of the MB wedges, and these are pretty consistent with that. Lighter swing weight helps crack the head through impact. About a club longer than the ISI's were, and more accurate. I was happy with the forgiveness the S59's, as I was expecting more of a true blade type performance. They helped me drop 5 or 6 strokes a game, and I finally got a hole in one with them. If you can hit them square, they are VERY accurate. I would say most clubs would be the same, but the old ISI's didn't perform quite like these. With anything in golf, expect to pay for them. Similar Products Used: Titleist DTR's, Ping ISI-K
