Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Studio Newport 2 Summary: good feel on center-hit putts. felt i was lifting the head up too much so added lead tape (ultimately 3 layers). now has good weight through the stroke. won pro shop credit in outing, so no out of pocket cost, so 5 stars on value for me, otherwise, ouch, not worth cost. Similar Products Used: pro platinum - too harsh
odyssey 2 ball - too funky
ping anser - limited feel
odyssey blade (number?) - not bad

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: newport 2 Summary: I first made the mistake of seeing this putter in a shop and picked it up wondering what the fuss was about. BIG mistake after a few practice strokes I hit a couple of balls on the practice green and then had to buy one. A fabulous putter it is pure quality and feels great.....It certainly helped with my stroke making it straigher and smoother.....go buy one.......... Customer Service: Not used and don't think it will be Similar Products Used: odyssey no7

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron SS Newport 2 Summary: Just bought the Newport 2 in ebay for $210. Thought it might be a fake for that price, but turn out amazing... I've read so many reviews on the Scotty, & thought people were overselling it. Turn out that they are telling the truth, I am loving every minutes of it. The feel, the look, the grip, everything is superb. I can't wait to get on the green. I believe in equipment superiority, it is worth it. I am setting up with an open stance, I see the line clearer than before. (it must be confidence). Life is short, go for it...
Customer Service: No need, it is perfect. Similar Products Used: Ping Redwood Piper S, Odyssey 3 balls, Ping G5, too many putters to list...

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: 2007 Newport Studio 2 Summary: First of all, let me say this: "I am truly impressed with the engineering of this putter from Titliest." I was very skeptical of all of the reviews because i am an individual that has to see and feel it before i believe it. This putter is amazing in regard to it's consistent (or rather my control of) distance control. The feel is soft but not to "buttery", which i feel is good for those long lag/sink putts. At set up, the putter lines up very square to the target. The only thing I didn't like was that there was not any marking on the "top" the the putter, but i fixed that easily with a fine point magic marker. However the line on the putter did help. I have only practiced with it on the putting green, so i don't know what impact it will have on my score. I do feel confident that i will be having less and less 3 putts.
I bought the putter from Edwin Watts Online used and i cannot complain about the quality. It looked virtually brand new, and i bought it for only $171.00. GREAT DEAL! Customer Service: not applicable Similar Products Used: ping
