Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Newport Beach Summary: Ok, for your consideration. Putters and irons appeal to me along two primary lines; one, feel and the other, asthetics. The Newport Beach is a great putter. Expensive, but; has the Cameron quality. I'm am an OK putter and I believe the Newport Beach will help me become an even better putter. I still 3 putt on occassion, so this putter did not cure that for me. The Newport Beach fits me well (sits upright and I am right at 6' tall) The feel is exceptional and I believe the undercut channel is responsible for that. The Newport Beach is asthetically pleasing. I don't have the greatest concentration over a putt and have a tendency to allow putter markings (arrows, lines, dots, etc) to break my focus. The Newport Beach is free of all/any markings and so works well for me. Freedom of markings is the primary reasons I did not buy the Newport 2 along with the absence of the cut sole. A great all around putter, which I find has superior ease of alignment and great distance control . The Newport Beach easily adapts to special requirements like putting on the toe to slow quick downhill putts. The Newport Beach sits more upright than the Newport Beach 1.5, which seemed flat to me, but retained the same good feel, and is also undercut. My son who stands 6'7" plays the Newport Beach 1.5 and really likes the flat lie and feel. I believe the only putters Scotty makes with the cut sole are the Newport Beach and Beach 1.5. I hope this helps you decide, as these are expensive putters;but, then again, we all know that cost is only relative! Customer Service: Excellent and professional. Similar Products Used: Scotty Cameron Studio 1.5, Coranado Mid-slant. Futura and Red X2. Titleist Bullseye.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Newport Beach Summary: A beautiful piece of equipment. The feel and feedback are pretty hard to beat. When you make a nice stroke the sound and feel are heaven. Heal and toe putts don't work out so well. Not a forgiving putter, but jeeeze - we ought to be able to hit the middle of a putter for crying out loud. Actually helps you pay attention and make a better stroke. You want feel in your putter, and this baby has it. It puts a super roll on the ball. Great product. Customer Service: None needed, but Titleist has always been good to me in the past. Similar Products Used: Ping - also a good product

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: newport beach Summary: This putter is a classic it has a tuning port that combined with the feel leaves little doubt of how well the putt was struck. I have used a few putters in my day and have tried the new style with weights in the back but when you look down they look like garden spades(not confidence inspiring in my opinion). A great product and unlike the pro platinum you don't have to worry about rust or the finish. If your going to shell out the cash do your golf game a favor and buy the best. Customer Service: have always played titleist woods, putters, balls and bags and never had a problem when problems did arise Similar Products Used: Ping Ti, Scottie Platinum 2.5, White Hot, Ping Anser 2
