Orlimar TriMetal II 10.5

Summary:
Purchased on eBay about 8 months ago, so I am well beyond the "honeymoon" period associated with a new piece of equipment. This is the first driver I've ever owned where I feel as though I can work the ball and shape the direction of my tee shots. Distance is better than average and consistency has been outstanding with this club. Club head is smaller than usually found on most current drivers, but with the deep face I don't have much trouble hitting it sweet. Stock shaft (stiff) matches well with my swing speed - does not feel "whippy". If you can find one it should be inexpensive and would highly recommend.

Olimar Trimetal II

Summary:
An extremely well balanced club that sets up neither too closed(as most drivers thes days do) nor too square. The muted but sweet sound at impact builds confidence and its distance is way out there with the best! Truly surprising it never was more popular a driver... Fairway woods of trimetal II are excellent as well.

Orlimar TriMetal II Ti

Summary:
Very impressed with this club. I have been using the Orlimar fairway woods for a couple of years now and decided to try an Orlimar driver last year since they are so cheap on EBay. I bought the 300cc club for $11 and was fairly pleased. It was the longest club I ever swung, but I had some control problems with it. A few weeks ago, I let a buddy play with it and afterwards he wanted me to find him one on Ebay, but maybe a little larger. I was able to find and buy this Orlimar TriMetal II TI 350cc club for .99 on Ebay. After taking it out to the driving range I have to say my buddy will get my old club instead. This thing is fantastic. Not much different than my 300cc club on distance (I'm not a long hitter and I generally get about 230-250 yards), but tons easier to control and to get the distance on a consistent basis. This club is a great value. You can probably get one on EBay easily for less than $50.

Orlimar Trimetal II 8.5* Driver

Summary:
I decided to take a chance on this driver even though I suspected the 8.5* loft wouldn't be enough. Boy, am I glad I did. Without a doubt this is the best driver I have ever hit (and I've hit quite a few).
For me, the combination of the stiff flex 65g shaft (with 3.5* torque) and the 350cc clubhead seem perfect. I should point out that for me the 350cc clubhead is the optimum size.
I'm hitting the ball further and straighter than I ever have. In a recent round I actually reached 2 par 5 500yd+ holes in 2 using a 4 iron. My drives have been averaging in excess of 270yds without overswinging. I can't believe how well this club performs.
Without a doubt the best driver I have ever used and even better I only paid $40US on ebay
I recommend you take a look at this club before buying something much more expensive.
