Please explain to me. Top Flight XL3000 weighs 45 gms.Top Flight Infinity weighs 46 gms. But the circumference of the XL 3000 Is marginally larger than the other. ???

I swear that the Infinity balls are the exact same balls as the XL-3000, just with different labels on them. I've played the XL-3000 Super Feel balls and tried the Infinity Buttery Feel and Awesome distance balls. They look the same, feel the same in your hand, bounce exactly the same when bounced off a floor and to me they feel & play exactly the same as the XL-3000s. XL-3000 Super Feel = Infinity Buttery Feel XL-3000 Super Long = Infinity Awesome distance. Overall both the XL-3000 Super Feel and the Infinity Buttery feel are decent low compression soft core balls that give you great distance with moderate swing speed and have a "soft" feel to them. However, they are not high spin balls that a better golfer can effectively use to control distance on shots to the green. Given the price that you can presently buy these ball for on close-out, they are a bargain, with the XL-3000 the better bargain because you get 15 balls for the same price as a dozen Infinities. You could originally buy these balls for $15 / dozen (now $10 on closeout) and they play pretty much the same as any other soft core ball that would cost you $20 / dozen.

The last two rounds I have switched to the buttery feel balls. All of my irons have gained 10 yards so I have had to adjust my club selection. This allows me to swing easier and still be aggressive. Sand wedge lands and rolls less than 3 feet. Drives continue rolling 10 to 20 yards after landing. These balls have refreshed my thinking and my game. #1.

I'm still new to this golf game stuff, but one thing i'm learning is there is a difference in balls. for me, i have what you would call a moderate swing speed, i've found that the harder balls, wilson titaniun, top flite xl's, titech's, ect. seem to hook and slice more off the driver. no forgiveness. the softer core, low compression balls, like SoLo, noodle, and the Infinity Buttery Feel are much more forgiving. I dont know all about distance and stuff per ball and all, but i do know that 200-250 yrd in the fairway (my average) beats 250 or more in the ruff. at least for me anyway. LOL. also, i love the feel of Infinity Buttery Feel on the greens. it has that nice "soft" feel when hit. not "tingy" like the harder cover balls. anyway, for whats its worth i've tried alot of balls and for the money, usually around $18 a dozen, there the best i've found for me so far.
