Callaway ERC Fusions Woods 3&5 Aldila NV65 S Summary:
Bought Callaway ERC Fusion 3 wood with Aldila NV65 stiff last year on the callawaypreowned website when I got it it looked as though mine came from a callaway golf robot all the ball marks extremely in the center! size of a dime! anyways when I got out on the golf course oh my does this thing rocket the ball out there 250-260+ dead straight, longer than some drivers off the tee!. So inpressed I bought a 5 wood with the same shaft and this ones a rocket too 220-230+ dead straight. Really improved my fairway game tons. Awesome looking club with carbon-fiber head I get remarks on it all the time by my golfing buddies. These arrows will stay in my quiver for along time to come. Thanks Callaway Customer Service:

3 & 5 Woods Summary:
A little less than a year ago I purchased the ERC Fusion fairway woods (3 and 5) from CallawayPreowned.com. When I received the clubs, they still had all of the stickers on them just like the new retail models as well as plastic wrap over the heads. New, original headcovers were included as well! Pretty nice for a "used" club...
They are far better clubs than the Wilson quad-metals I was using before. They are easier to hit off the ground (as well as the tee), get up high in the air, and fly in a nice, straight path. They have a distinctive sound and strikingly cool look about them. The carbon fiber looking cap is unique.
I agree with one other reviewer that withthe very low swing weight it is harder to "feel" the clubhead but I'm not sure it has been a problem for me.
I also have the ERC Fusion driver (10 deg) and, only moments ago, ordered an ERC Fusion 7 wd to replace my impossible to hit 3 iron.

Callaway ERC Fusion 3 & 7 Wood Summary:
Top tier fairway woods! Easy to hit from various lies and as solid a wood as I have hit. Sound at impact is a solid "thwack" which I prefer to the "tink" you get in some metal woods. 3 wood is my go-to club off the tee when the driver isn't working; long & forgiving. An added plus, the Fusion is very pleasing to my eye. I expect to be playing these woods for some time to come. Well done Callaway!!! Customer Service:

use to shoot in the 90's.........just played my first round with the ERC's. without question, these are the best fairway woods that Cally has ever made...they are also the reason i shot an 86 yesterday..too bad they sell for 3 bills each, keeps them out of a lot of peoples hands, and thus losing the thrill of what they are all about. i didn't pay full pop for these as i was smart enough to go to callygolfpreowned.com and they have these listed for 220.00. they picked me 3 clubs that look like they've never been touched. not only do they save you a bunch of cash, but the same warranty applies to these sticks, so you are at no risk.
i also have a set of 04 BB's, and i hit them well, but with the same swing, the ERC's beat them hands down. they are not oversized soup ladels like the GBII's, and when you set up to the ball, they just look perfect. ball flight is unbelievable, long as a well struck driver, but trajectory is something you have got to see..........ball lands like it's on wheels.....oh yeah....."ball go faaarrrrr". Callaway ERC Summary:
I have 3 wood with an adila stiff shaft. The club overall looks great, but I had difficulty hitting this club even off the tee. The head is extremely light and may not be suitable for slower swing speeds, even though mine is fast. I defintely had trouble feeling the club head. I would recommend a D2 or D3 weighted club for higher handicappers such as myself. The ERC is D0.
