Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Black Max XT-1 Iron Summary: Here is another winning design by ZT. In the cluttered world of component club heads, I have not found club heads that consistently meet the quality found in a ZT iron. Unlike other components laden with models or manufacturer engravings on the sole, ZT irons emphasize their camber sole design so divots are clean and shallow from any lie. The hosel bores are centered and precise – With ZT, I have never had to use shafting beads! This set of irons was assembled with ZT’s XLT-80 stiff shaft. Aesthetically it tops any club I’ve ever seen. Other golfers always remark on this elegant combination. I added accuracy and distance to my game. As with all ZT irons, the XT-1 head is well balanced – with a light grip the head returns squarely to impact. A well struck shot has an amazingly crisp solid sound.
