Summary:
I spent a lot of time testing and rethinking and comparing before I opted for the 35-S fairway woods. In the end, I just couldn't get over the fact that I plain hit these clubs better and with more forgiveness than the V-steel Taylor Mades, Pings, Calloways, and Cobras, and all other fairway woods I tried. I ordered them with the ProForce 65 stiff flex shafts (my swing speed is over 110mph) and I love 'em to death. They sound great, have a bigger (both wider and deeper) face than the others I tried, and I had trouble not getting the ball off well. The kicker is, they were also the cheapest of the ones I mentioned, and with the money I saved, I added a hybrid 4 (24 deg loft) to my bag. How can you argue? I recommend trying them out to anyone who's not sold on having to have TM's or Big Berthas just for the name. I really wanted to go with the V-steels originally since I have the R5 Dual driver, but I couldn't justify paying more for clubs that, for whatever reason, didn't feel as good to me.

Nike Ignite, Ping G2, TaylorMade V-steel, Titleist 980, Calloway Big Bertha, Cobra Comp and SZ, Wilson Staff, plus a few hybrid options - all at the range. The only clubs I wish I had a chance to try were the Cleveland Launcher (I heard great things about them, but they didn't have them in stock yet) and the R5 Fairway woods (too much money anyway)...
