Summary:
This ball is not full of hype. It actually plays as great as the other reviewers said. It is long off of the driver and actually has some spin on it. The durability leaves a little to be desired, but I may never buy HX Tour ball again as long as Dunlop keeps making this ball.

Customer Service:
This ball is really hard to find in stores.

Summary:
I love this ball. The only downside is it is hard to find!!!!!! This ball is one of the best 3 piece balls on the market ...minus the steep price tag! Great ball!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could buy a couple of crats a year of these I would be happy!

Dunlop Loco Pro

Summary:
To those who have played the ProV1x I believe this ball has a similar feel about it. It certainly has nothing in common with the standard Loco and is genuinely a ball for higher swing speeds.

Distance off the tee is excellent with a piercing ball flight.

I actually prefer the Loco Pro over the Pro V1x when it comes to iron play. I seem to get better distance control without the tendancy of the V1x to fly every now and then. Spin is adequate without being excessive.

The ball holds its own on and around the green.

Durability is excellent. The ball wears similarly to the original Maxfli Revolutions ie. it seems to wear very lightly and evenly to a greyish look. It will not shred like some other premium balls.

In a nutshell a ball that performs very similarly to the ProV1x but at about 80% of the price. Not sure if it will be a success as the Loco brand might not appeal to those who see themselves as "serious" golfers. Those who are game to give it a try might be suprised.

Dunlop Loco Pro

Summary:
The search is over for the ProV1X replacement. Didn't lose any distance w/ the Loco Pro. Touch on and around greens was comparable. Barely a scuff after 9 holes of use. I love the ProV1X, I just have a problem shelling out $40 a dozen for a ball that is going to be fairly well scuffed after 9 holes of play. I couldn't find the Loco Pro at any area store and was told that they're very hard to come by. I ordered two dozen from golfballs.com at a cost of $25 a dozen and had them in three days.
