Summary: Don't even hesitate, check them out. I had my clubs stolen, which broke my heart. A local club maker suggested these clubs and I took the chance. I love the feel of all the clubs, but I'm ecstatic over the driver. I've improved my driving accuracy considerably while adding about 15-20 yards to my average drive. I was hitting Calaways, which weren't so bad either but I got used to the Nak pretty quick.

Model Reviewed: Nakashima NP-1
Summary: I started with a Nak NP-1 380 driver and now have a bag full of John Nakashima's clubs including:
NP-1 420 driver with Acuflex Creation 65s shaft.
Np-1 3&5 wood with Accra 85x shaft
NP-1 3-PW and 52*, 56* wedges with 6.0 Japanese rifles.
The drivers look great and have an amazingly solid feel and sound at impact. The distance is comparable to other that I hit Titleist 905R, TM r7 425, TM holy grail, Ping G5, Geek, Alpha V5, SMT 455.
The Np-1 irons look great at address and are very solid and workable with incredible feel. I love playing vintage blades, Titleist Tour Model, Wilson bullet backs, Spalding bird on a ball, Hogan Apex. Also have some cavity backs Mizuno MP 32, TM X-300 FCI, TM r7 TP. I can't take the NP-1's out of the bag. All od the clubs very high quality.

Summary: Nakashima is a new compnay out but I have to say that tehy are going to be huge. I needed a new three wood and a club maker recomended this company. I have to say I am glad a took a risk and went with the nak. It performs great. The distnace is incredibel and sometimes I hit it further than my TM 580 driver. Off center hits loses some distnace but they still go straight. I got it with the nv 85 stiff shaft for extra control and I got it. I use the nak to tee off about 75 percent of the time. I can consistently hit it 220 to 250 and that is all you really need on a tee shot. But most importnat it is in the fairway. Of the deck it performs well to. It gets the ball up nicely and it is long and easy to hit. I recomend this club to any one looking to gain control and distance
