Shoots in the 100s Model Reviewed: Wilson Multi Metal clubs/set Summary: I was playing Wilson Firesticks (Wal-Mart specials) and wanted to move up, but not spend a lot of money. I saw the Wilson Multi Metal set at a golf course(used) and liked them. I found the same set on the internet and they came with SW, putter, and a bag. I figure I saved $200 by buying them on the internet vs. the golf course.
Nice set of clubs. Comes with a hybrid 3 and 4 iron which I never had, or used, before. Easier to hit than regular irons! Initially, I did not see a difference in distance or acuracy. However, I have played a few times over the winter and my confidence is growing. After only 2 rounds and 2 visits to the driving range my iron distances have increased slightly. The driver appears to be one that could be purchased at Wal-Mart for $30, but it is a good driver. I am 55 and have only been playing less than 2 years. This may be the last set of clubs I buy. My goal is to be a scratch driver from the back tee's. Right now I play just behind the women's tee's, the white tee's. "When" I reach my goal of scratch golf I will consider buying higher quality clubs. Until then, these are great clubs and serve me well. Wilson offers good quality, good service (I broke a Firestick Iron and they found a replacement for $20 even though they stopped making that version of the club), and good value. This particular set came with PW, SW, putter and a bag. I bought a matching AW to round out the set.
There may be better clubs out there, but if you can't hit these, you probably won't be able to hit more expensive clubs either. Customer Service: I bought these at Bestbuygolfballs.com Very nice, great price, great experience. Similar Products Used: Wilson Firesticks. Great set of clubs for beginners.
