Taylor Made OS2 Irons

Summary:
These Irons are the best thing to ever happen to my game. I have been a weekend warrior for over a decade never being able to hit iron shots and never coming close to scoring under a hundred. After having these clubs for 2 months I was able to put a ball 3 feet from the pin from 175 yds out using a 6 iron. The rac 2's have also lowered my overall score by 10 strokes and once I figure out my driver (not rac 2's fault) I will be a 10-15 handicap in no time.

Once you have the swing down, the clubs are very easy to hit and have a great feel on solid shots and are also pretty forgiving on mis-hits. I would and do recommend these clubs to anyone who is looking for an upgrade to their bag.

TaylorMade Rac OS2

Summary:
I started playing golf at 16...stopped at 19...re-started this year. I just turned 40. The clubs I played with then I used when re-starting...sad I know. I decided to step up to TaylorMade after several trips to my local pro shop. Made the purchase from reviews alone as I had never held the OS2's personally. The price was right and once receiving the clubs, I have played two rounds and made several driving range trips. As far as my game goes, the course I am playing on is still fairly new and quite hard. I played a few rounds with the old clubs and was not bad but not great. With the OS2's, shots got better with less slicing...definately noticeable improvement. On the driving range, I get very accurate and consistent shot placement. I even over-swung the club a few times with a 5 iron and all shots went long and straight. Chip shots are accurate, hitting the mockup green just about every time.I will have these clubs forever. Go get them...especially for the prices they are now.

Summary:
I absolutley love these irons. It took me about 3 rounds to get used to them, but now they are amazing. Before I got them, i would slice the ball everytime, but with a little extra weight I can control my swing better and I hit is farther. I would certainly reccomend these to anybody.

Rac os 2

Summary:
This is my first real season golfing. I have gone out about every week since April. I bought the Rac OS 2 about a month ago. I was choosing between these, Nike Ignite, and TM R7 irons. I did not go with Nike because I just like TM better. I did like the R7 grips better and both felt good. I only chose the Rac because they were $100 cheaper and all the specs are the same between the two irons.

Here is what I have learned so far. The grips are nice. The irons feel great in my hands. The PW is scary. I am really afraid of sailing the green on some chip shots, but have not done so yet. I hit the 8 iron about 145, which to me is amazing. The 4 iron I hit about 180. Even if a skull a shot, these babies make the ball roll 100 yards. I even learned to crush the 3 iron. And these babies make the ball go straight. My last 2 times out, two par 3s I placed two tee shots less than 10 feet away from the pin. Yesterday, I broke 100!!! I still top some shots, I have taken a lesson this summer, and I watch the breakdowns of Tiger's and Hogan's swings. These clubs have definitely made me a better golfer. But I do suggest taking some lessons too.

TM Rac OS2

Summary:
I brough these irons a year age when I was shooting in the 90's-100's. Since then I have had 3 scores in the 70's and consistantly in the low 80's. My course is 6400 and par 70, 71.9/129. I started a bit of a beginner and read the reviews for these irons and brought with out trying in the regular flex. They really inproved my game, they go nice and high and you can still take a divot. They are not that hard to work and come with an offset so it is easy to hit a draw. At the moment I hit the 7 about 160Y with a regular flex but am upgradeing to the mizuno mp-32's only because of the shaft and since I am now in single figures I want more of a blade as these irons are a bit chunky which promotes confidence. When I brought the chunkyness was good but now I want blades. They set up well as you can't really see the cavity behind the top line. They fly high and look really good in the bag. Into the wind they will definetly ballon a little if you don't know how to play the shot wright. So over all I would really reccomend these irons. I dropped my handicap 10 shots with these irons and a lot of practise, but these irons really helped. If you want a forgiving iron and goes high and far no matter where you hit it... Then buy these now!!!
