Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: 855 Silver Scot Summary: I've been playing the 855's for about 3 years. I bought them about the time I started shooting under 100 consistently. They did help me lower my score another 7 or so strokes, but I started noticing the lack of forgiveness more and more. I hit them very long and I like the high trajectory I get from them. They seem to hold up very well, with very few dings or scratches. However, after getting the chance to demo some Mizuno irons for several weeks, I now see that I am ready to move on to a nice, new set of irons that are more forgiving. Basically if you are looking for a sturdy set of irons that will help you get below a 30 handicap, for a cheap price, these will work. Otherwise I'd imagine you can find a much more forgiving set of irons for a comparable price.

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Tommy Armour Silver Scot Summary: I have had these irons for my entire 15 year life, and would not trade them for anything. These irons will spank the ball real long if you know how to use them. However, they are not the most forgiving irons ever, you need to really have them square to hit the ball. However, the weight of the club really hits the ball far. Last forever too.
