I have had these irons for long time and found them in storage. i have full set of irons from a 1 iron down to a pitching wedge. During my time following hogan tours i shot in mid80's with the irons.

I just purchased a set of the clubs they are left handed and they are super easy to hit and launch the ball high. I have Ping eye 2+ s and have played them for years. These clubs I think have a lower center of gravity and the heel toe weighting works well. Karsten knew what he what he was doing. I think you can win with these clubs as any Ping club.

Customer Service

Customer service from Ping has always been outstanding for me

Picked these brilliant irons up at my local club in the second hand rack. Had the karsten II to start golf with as a kid in the 80s.......got these for £50, and just wow! Feel and perform as good as any new ping out there, just the lofts are the weaker original lofts but that suits me. But they are a wonderful design and if you get the zz lute shaft you're in for a treat! Kirsten knew how to build long lasting brilliant irons, they put to shame some modern models that fall to bits and perform worse. I can't express how good these 1976 classics are and they are a joy to hit and very forgiving.....but when you're hitting the sweet spot they are just brilliant!

Customer Service

Outstanding from ping, altered mine from green to black with no fuss....ping are the best for customer service
