Summary: This is the first hybrid I have ever purchased and am quite pleased with it. I opted for the Adilia stiff flex shaft and a 21 degree loft (about that of a 3 iron). My delema was that I could hit my origional 3 iron about 220 yards and my 5 wood about 245, so I needed a club that would be good from 225-240 and this club does just that. Whats great about this club is that it gets the ball higher in the air off the fairway with more distance than a regular 3 iron, so shots into par 5's stay on the green and the ball has a better tendenct to stay online. This club is also very good off the tee, it has a slight offset which allows the player to play the ball further back in his stance to get a nice, low borring trajectory. I would not recomend this club to a higher (or even mid) handicap player. This is still an iron and plays very similar to a normal long iron, unlike many of the new hybrids which play like woods. While this may be easier to hit then your sets origional long irons it will be much harder than hitting another form of hybrid, such as the Cleveland HALO. This club still allows the player to work the ball in both directions and is great for tight fairways and windy days, for those players who like to hit a stinger shot. Overal, I am very pleased and this is a club that will stay in my bag for a while.

Model Reviewed: Cleveland LDI 18* Dynamic Gold Superlite S300
Summary: This is a very nice club, looks great at address, seems similar to a TA7 with some offset and a thicker topline, and very easy to align. It gives me more confidence over a standard 2 iron, which is now replaced by the LDI 18*.
It is truly a player's club for those who like a 2 iron with a lot more forgiveness and the ability to get the ball up quick. The ball is absolutely hot off the face with a nice solid, firm feel. I had the tendency to hit my 2 iron fat, more than I would like. With the LDI, I can attack the ball steep or shallow and not have to worry about it digging into the ground.
I chose to equip this club with a Dynamic Gold Superlite S300 to match my Dynamic Gold S300 shafts in my irons. I tried a few different hybrids (iron-like and wood-like) and the LDI seemed to fit my eye the best. There are some other great clubs out there similar to this one, but I recommend giving this a try. The LDI worked the best for me. Took me a few swings to get used to it, but now I have a club for tight tee shots and long approaches where distance and accuracy is crucial.
