Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: hx hot Summary: I found this ball to be hard. It rolled a lot, whichis Great in the fairway, but not good when I tried to get it to stick on the greens.
This ball did not have a good feel off my wedges and was hard off the putter.
I did get a sleeve for free from a magazine subscription, so I did not purchase them.
I would play this ball as a last resort. Customer Service: n/a Similar Products Used: Nike Power Distance Soft. Nike one

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Callaway HX HOT Summary: Well I had to try this ball bc everyone said how long it it. They're right. I got about 15% distance added on to every club. But I got tired of rolling every ball off the back of the green. Absolutely no spin or control on the greens. Shotshapers beware. Distance freaks, buy this ball.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Callaway HX Hot Summary: I'm a huge fan of Callaway products, and the HX Hot is one of many great products they provide. For me, this one is absolutely the longest ball I have every played, but on the down side, not much control on the short game. If you're a player who likes to spin the ball and back it up, this one is probably not for you, but if you prefer to roll it up to the pin, this ball might not be a bad choice. I've got them to stick on the green, but the ball is designed to reduce spin off the driver, and not for short game control. If you grip and rip for distance, give this one a shot. If you can work the ball or like more spin on the approach shots, try the HX tour or 56 instead. In scramble outings, I like to use this ball to put some extra distance on my drives.
Overall, a resonably priced ball with awesome distance and good durability, but limited short game performance for better players. Customer Service: Not needed Similar Products Used: HX Tour, HX 56, HX Red, Pro V1, Srixon Z-URS

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: HX Hot Summary: I'm a Callaway fan, but I just don't get why this ball was so highly rated by Golf Digest.
Yes, it provides good distance and it's somewhat durable. But If I'm just going to bump and run; their Big Bertha ball feels better, provides similar performance and it costs less.
If I'm playing my buddies for $$$, I'm not using either ball. The Callaway HX Tour/HX 56 provide superior all around performance when it matters.
