Nike One Platinium

Summary:
Nike has a winner here, but for different reasons than you might think. The One Platinium is NOT a distance ball. The ball has one of the fastest spin rates off the wedge AND driver. Spin kills distance, and makes a hook or slice REALLY look bad. You can review the spin rate in various golf magazines that test golf equipment. In fact, of the balls tested by Golf Magazine, One Platinium tested at over 13,000 rpm's. Off the driver, you will lose some distance. However, where this ball shines is with your short-irons and wedges. The One Platinium slams on the brakes around the greeen better than any ball on the market. More feel than you can believe around and on the green. BTW, the greens are where the matchsticks are won and lost ! The One Platinium will reduce your scores if you can drive the ball well. You won't likely win a longest drive contest with it. IF you can drive the ball straight most of the time, this is a gem from your approach shot and in. It's almost like cheating with a Gap or SW in your hands ! Oh yeah, these golf balls are expensive as hell. They will cost you $42/dozen plus tax making it a poor value, so plan accordingly! Good golfing to all !

Summary:
I was disappointed with this ball compared to the pro V1s and the Callaway HX tour and HX Tour 56. I played three rounds off golf at pebble beach. first i played nike , then pro V then Callaway Hx tour 56. My first round the ball had alright trajectory and alright spin. My second round the Pro v played good. a little inconsistant but played good. Over all the callaway played the very best. good spin and trajetory. if you are going to spend alot of money on a ball i would get a set of Callaway Hx Tour 56s.

Nike Platinum One New

Summary:
This is my new fav ball, I played this ball for the 1st time in September and managed to make 18 holes last with this ball. The ball flight, spin, control were all great with this ball.

My wedge game was the best it's been as I am able to control the ball into the green with hop and sto motion EVERY TIME.

Putting was the best of my life, 5 two putts, everything else was a 1 putt.

I am not sure what others are taking about that the cover rips. I found this ball to wear like any other 3p ball that has a soft cover.

Summary:
i got a box of 12 but when i got home i foun that someone had nicked a sleeve out of the box and was left with 9 but anyway i was playing on stovers 4th par 4 353 yrds on a downhill slope and i took my driver out and blasted one straight at the flag it had a perfect trajectory went miles and then checked and stopped 9 foot fron the hole (i measured it because i was so proud) that was the reason i had done a review oh and i am still on my first ball after 5 and a half rounds also i played at augusta about half a month after the masters its bloody pricey and even though the greens were rock hard and the fairways soft this ball bit like hell it is an amazing ball. and another thing that people dont write about very often is its brilliance in putting it keeps its line very solid and rolls beautifully and if you go for a full splash shot out of a bunker it balloons up, lands softly and spins bachk 5ft or so maybe even more it is a must have BUY THEM!!!!!!!
