Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping G5 Hybrid 22/19 Summary: I hit both the 22 and the 19 degree G5, both with steel shafts. Both are easier to hit than a 2-3-4 iron and are very easy to work (draw/fade). Unlike all of the newer hybrids these have a smaller face and I really like the way they set-up. The newer hybrids (G10) for example are almost a fairway wood size, you might as well get a 7 wood again.. I do reccomend..

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: g5 hybrid 19 degree Summary: Great little weapon.
I already own an Adams 3 hybrid but had a hard time hitting the club consistently. Out of the blue I spotted a ping G5 hybrid and went into the simulator. To my surprise all shots went where i was aiming and since then I have used it with much success on the golf course. This club really assists the ball distance wise and on target which is all you can ever ask of a club like this. Distance and accuracy.
I am keeping it and look forward to using it as my 200 to 215 yard club.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping G5 Hybrid Summary: As an avid Ping fan I was convinced that this club would be great for me. Unfortunately I have been quite disappointed. The feedback is poor and it has a recognised flaw in that it tends to lie open at address which can easily lead to a strong fade. (I believe these issues have been addressed with the G10). Hit it square and the results are great but definitely not as forgiving as a lot of others. Customer Service: Great with all my other clubs etc. Similar Products Used: Nike, Cleveland

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: ping g5 hybrid Summary: These Hybrids really are just a great club. I agree totally with most of the reviews in that you can work the ball right and left, hit it high or low, just a wonderfully designed club. I personally LOVE the Grafalloy prolaunch shaft. Others prefer the TFC, but he prolaunch is great for me. I find the sweet spot right where it should be, ON THE SWEET SPOT, so I dunno what some reviewers are talking about. As an example, once I was about 200 yds out, with a big tree blocking my line to the green on the left of the fairway. I set up for a hooking shot, and just swung the club, the ball hooked perfectly around the tree and landed on the green. My golfin buddy said "wow, just like on TV", later on in the same round I was in the right rough with some tree branches blocking a high shot, I need to hit a low slice that would run to the green or in the trap behind it to have a chance of getting a par. I set up for a low slice, and just swung, the ball came out low, sliced perfectly ran past the pin and trickled into the trap behind. So i LOVE these hybrids...check them out! Customer Service: Ping stands behind their products 100%. Similar Products Used: Taylor rescue, cobra baffler.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: G5 19 Degree Graphite Stiff Summary: This is my new favorite club. As a 3 iron replacement it is great. Off the fairway, rough, or tee, I have consistant distance and I can control the club wonderfully. The ball flight is high and soft, typical for myself and my game. Highly recommended. Customer Service: I have not used. Similar Products Used: Titleist, Cleveland, Taylor Made.
