Summary: I recently purchased the Callaway X Hot 3W with a Adila VS Proto shaft. This club is very long on a well struck ball. Also, it's very long off the tee. To give you an example of this club's benefits, I mis-hit a 230 yard drive on a 502 yard par 5 that I have never reached in 2. Instead of laying up I chose to use my 3w and see I close I could get the ball. With a nice easy swing I left the ball 10 yards short of the green. Imagine if I hit my normal 250 - 260 yard drive? I probably would flew the green by 30+ yards!!! That is something I've never done.
The shaft helps also. With the high kickpoint and torque the ball stays nice and low and runs forever.

Summary: This is one of the best clubs I've ever used. I carried a cheap, off-brand 3 wood and 5 wood for years, and I could hit them well off the tee, but I never had much success hitting them off the grass.
This club changed all that for me. Now, instead of laying up with a mid iron or gambling with a long iron, this is my go-to club to knock one greenside on short par 5's or keep it right down the middle on a tight fairway. It gets the ball up off the ground very easily, with a mid-high trajectory. It's also very forgiving; even off-center hits fly long and true. This is a perfect club for someone looking to add some consistency to their long game.

Summary: This is an excellent product offering, but it's not for everyone. If you are looking for a high ball flight with lots of spin to increase distance do not buy this product. This is a mid launch club with a pentrating flight and loads of distance. Great from turf or tee. Ball does not balloon even straight into the wind. Good price. Great club. X-Hot is good to, but not as versatile from fairway.

Summary: By far the best club out there! All I can say is amazing, easy to hit off the deck and even better off the tee. I started golf a little over 4 months ago, so I never really thought about getting a fairway wood yet. Then once I started seeing that as I got better, I really needed a consistant club for 250+ or a good straight club for the short par 4's, I went to pick up a club. This hits better than the Burner, F and Pro Cobras, and even the FT. The furthest club I hit was the FT but I was popping it so I thought I would go to the club I was hitting the most consistant 240-250 yards. Then I bombed this one 260 just like with the FT, albeit straight instead of a fade/slice. The stock shaft is nice too and with the combo, I'm able to swing 110mph from 106 with the others. It sets up nice, had a nice square face, and for me, it has a more fluid swing. Oh and mis hits are still really great too! They still go around 200-210 and pretty straight. All I can say is thanks Callaway! And I'm a Taylormade fanatic. 16 year olds tend to be a little stupid.
It's 200 bucks but should really switch price tags with the FT. Amazing!!!
Oh and from 1-5 I would give it a 6 if I could.

Summary: I recently demoed this club along with the FT hybrid at a Callaway demo day. Liked the X Hybrid so much I bought one.
My normal ball flight is high with a slight fade. This club is replacing my 3 iron which I can't hit reliably to 200yd par 3's anymore. I've now hit range balls and played 4 rounds with it. A smooth swing produces a 200-205 yard medium height trajectory with a slight draw. At the range (with this ball flight) I thought the ball might not hold a green, but it does land softly and stops after a couple of hops. This club is the bomb. Easy to hit from tee, fairway and rough. No way I could hit my 3 iron from many of the lies I've hit this club from. Highly recommended.
