Rapture irons

Summary:
When it was time to replace my ISIs, I compared the Rapture with the G10.

With the Raptures, I hit the ball higher and longer by 5-10 yards. I bought SW-UW-6 ions soft graphit set late last season.

The soft graphits are too light. I have added many lead taps. I can stop the ball a lot quicker (not sure if that is because of the higher ball flight or the new groove or a combination). In addition, I now hit the ball a lot straighter instaed of a draw.

The Raptures cost more than the G10. This is my thrid set of Ping irons. I like these the best by far.

Customer Service:
The Ping Custom Fit service was good.

Rapture/graphite

Summary:
My hitting greens in regulations has jumped due to these irons. My length with my old Mizuno set was the same as the Rapture but the Rapture irons are straighter. I would miss left and right but usually pin high with the Mizuno set. Now I hit greens with less margin of error left and right. I did not change my grip, stance, nor did I take a lesson when I made the switch. i moved from mid-low 80's to high 70's on average score. I will stay with these clubs for a long time. BE SURE TO HAVE A PING REP FIT YOU INTO THESE IRONS.

Ping Rapture

Summary:
I purchased a set of Ping Raptures. Driver, 3-Wood, 21* Hybrid, 3-SW. One thing that surprised me with the Rapture is the excellent feel. On miss hits I know where the ball hit the club face. Off the toe, you'll feel it, on the heal you'll feel it. On the money, you'll know it! My previous clubs were Ping Zing. I am getting a tremendous amount of spin with my 9 iron, pitching wedge, and sand wedge. I have never spun the ball, like I have with these. I have hit some sand wedge shots that have sucked back 15 to 20 feet. My 3 iron game has improved with the Rapture. The bigger head gives me a little more confidence and is easy to swing. Although my Hybrid is taking over in that department. Overall the irons are a very solid, and responsive feeling clubs. I would recommend getting fitted since your shelling out some serious dough. The Rapture driver is the best driver I've ever hit. It took some time to get used to the weighting of the club, but now its my favorite club in the bag. I recommend the VS Proto shaft over the TFC. Absolutely no complaints on my 3-wood either. This is a great set of clubs for any golfer.

Customer Service:

Ping Rapture

Summary:
I needed a set of clubs which are 1.Durable and last a long time.
2.Custom fitting
3.Forgiving for an amateur golfer.

I selected and got fitted a set of Rapture irons (4-PW) because it has a Ping quality, the classic looks and also the latest technology.

I'm enjoying golf more and more even though I'm not practicing often and only play one round per week. Every club are long, accurate and forgiving.

I've added a Ping Hybrid, AW and SW to my set. They will be with me for many more years.
