Description Having won the Golf Digest Editor's Choice for drivers in 2006, it was no doubt a challenge to improve on the original all titanium SasQuatch driver. What made the original great, makes the new SasQua...
Summary: It has added 10 to 20 yards and the mis-hits are more forgiving. I played last weekend, had 2 drives that were unbelievable. The first one I crushed and it just took off at about 300 yds. The 2nd drive, I teed it up a little too high and I could feel that it went off the top of the club. It still out drove everyone even not hitting it flush at 250 and it went straight.
Your swing is what matters, but this club will help negate those bad swings and will definitely enhance your good swings with some bombs. Great value!!

Summary: Just got it and only one word can describe it, "Amazing". I normally just left my driver in the bag and used my 3 wood off of the tee. I never really had problems with hitting it straight with my previous drivers, unless I tried to kill it, it was just a comfort thing. After getting this driver I just stepped up and swung away and it was right down the middle. I really don't know how much more distance I've added (I haven't played a round with it) and the range I hit it at didn't have accurate markers. I can tell you that the launch and accuracy alone are worth it. I can see an increase in distance I just don't know how much. The forgiveness everyone has spoke of is true and I don't know what the gripe, some people have about the sound, is all about. It sounds solid when I hit it. I can definitely see that it will help with some strokes just because the ball will be in play.

Model Reviewed: Nike SasQuatch Sumo 460
Summary: There is absolutely no driver or golf club that will 100% change the way you play the game or dramatically change your scores. But the Nike SasQuatch Sumo 460 Driver is definately top of the line for a cheaper price. I'd reccomend it to anyone because it is not going to make the game harder for you. Best driver I've ever owned, but remember its the golfer that makes the driver. The high MOI HELPS you to drive straighter but don't expect that if you buy tihs or any driver that you will play like the pros. Great driver! Happy golfing!

Summary: I have played the SQ SUMO now since it came out.
I manage a golf shop that specializes in fitting and selling golf equipment. I usually get any equipment free from sales rep's so I try it all out.
I was originally hesitant about the Nike driver because I thouight it was primarily a marketing driven product, I'm a big TIGER fan, but not the type to play clubs based on tour stats. This driver is also my first 9.5 loft.
I've used 8.5 75 gram high kick low torque x-stiff's forever, this club I got with the VS PROTO 65 x at -1/2" I put a reminder ribbed tour velvet full cord grip on it and can't believe how hard it bores through the air, I am already long but now it's not even close. I'm really shocked at how big this club goes, this year I can't count how many times my regular playing partners "demanded" to hit this driver just to settle for themselves that it wasn't "hot." It launches high with little spin which makes it bore hard and straight, I don't get roll out much but that is consistant with drivers for me anyway. I have never been so accurate, I do like the sound which is important, and I really came around to the appearance quickly when I began to believe in this club's design. Tee it high and hit it on the way up, a shorter shaft really seemed to make starting it online easy.

Summary: compared to my ft5 9.5 this SUMO added ten yards with more confidence. The accuracy is much the same as the ft5 but longer which makes it better. My swing speed is ranged from 119 to normally 123mph, so i needed an x flex which was tough to find. Nice driver though, you should try it.
