Summary: Very nice driver. If you are having trouble off the tee, this might be a great choice. I was, so I bought a used one with a S flex VS Proto "by you", and hit it great out of the gate... very straight, and the distance loss is minimal, considering the trouble I used to get into with the bombers... I'll take a 275 fairway over a 300 yd behind a tree or in the thick stuff any time!
The sound is loud and a little nasty, but who cares? Ball flight is variable, depending on how hi this thing is teed up, which is a great thing, IMO... I have hit several drivers longer, but none straighter. And, not that much longer.
Mine is 44", VERY controllable. I like it very much. I score MUCH better from the fairways!

Summary: I golf with buddy every Friday afternoon, I'm the youngest one plus lift weight daily. I know it was time to get new driver when everyone out drive me. I choose SUMO2 because the price was right. I was very impressed, It take about 2 bucket of to get use to the tempo, the end result is a wow! I'm a beginner but played 4-5 year on and off. Driving was never my game, my iron is much more consistence and can hit long iron with ease. Played 2 round so far with this new driver, and the Sumo2 give me opportunities to play from the short stuff. It will make the game more fun. Every shot is long and straight. Don't get me wrong, i still spray it, but it's in a much more narrower path that before. You can really fell the pop when you hit it right, it will go miles. The sound? whose care when you hit em to fence . You'll get use to it.
Customer Service: none so far.

Summary: I reviewed this earlier in the year (see drjacko) and promised myself to get the stiffer shaft version. This became even more imperative as suddenly I started getting lots of height and backspin with a more upright swing after the winter months. I got a fantastic bargain with the proforce stiff shaft and went to 9.5 degrees (from original 10.5). After some trials at the driving range I found myself hitting 280+ yds on the course with a straight boring flight with minimal dispersion. I would recommend if you find yourself hitting higher with this club (which most people do) to go with the stiffer shaft (+/- lesser loft). I know I have technically broke the rules of the site by posting second review but this is a very different driver with the proforce shaft. The stiffer shaft is recommended for players who can hit the ball high as the higher ball flight will translate to far more distance. I still have gripes with the grip supplied though.
Customer Service: I got mine for 109pounds at nevada Bobs Belfast with a trade in of my old callaway 454. It was already reduced to 149 pounds. I think for any new product I could have gotten more for the trade in. I was not offered use of the computerised distance estimation. The staff was friendly but originally ambivalent at the reasons for wanting the model described above. To be fair my first few hits on the range were slightly discouraging so I can only wonder if my enthusiasm would have been dulled with the distance estimation in the shop. It was only after I came back from the simulated driving bay saying I wanted it that staff then started remarking how it would go under the wind and get low trajectory.
Similar Products Used: Nike sumo2 mitsubishi regular 10.5 degrees. I was doing very well with it until the start of this season where with a more upright swing attepted I was getting pulls on trying to draw the ball and backspin on power fades. The former was particulary noticible when trying to go all out. I have to say I have cut down slicing to a near zero.

Summary: my friend let me borrower this new club and it is very easy to hit, the way it sets up square helps confidence and offcenter hits still produced a lot of distance, however the sounds is so loud, i mean it hurt my ear drum.

Summary: Loathe it. First I cannot believe that they would release a club to the public that was so incredibly load, sounding like an aluminum bat.
I hit the thing with a bucket of balls and was starting to become embarassed, not at my shot but the sound. Every shot was annoyingly loud.
I played three rounds with it and then retired it. Took it right back and bought something else to try out.
