Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping G10 Irons Graphite shaft Summary: I switched to the Ping G10 irons from the Taylor Made R7 CGB old model that I played with for the past 2 years after a demo day and have to say that I just switched back after 5 rounds with the G10's. The G10 are great clubs with very good distance and forgiveness but what killed me was the big offset in the head. When I demoed he irons I used mostly a 7 iron and it was great, in a machine, but a different game on the course. I could not adjust for the head and was mostly hooking the ball with every club on the course. I just sold them and bought a new R7 CGB set and the ball flies straight as an arrow and is a bit longer than the G10. I play with the G10 Driver, 3 wood and 15* hybrid, and love them, just the irons were not made for me. Customer Service: not used Similar Products Used: Callaway Big Bertha 2002, 2006; Taylormade R7 CGB 2006 and 2008.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: G10/Kent Sports Clones Summary: I tried a set of the G10's and they are great... just the swing weight standard is too light for me. I purchased the Kent sports PX-1 clones of the G10, and put in some S flex UST Platinum shafts... GREAT irons! Kent makes the Alpha Reaction driver heads that dominated the long drive circuit a few years ago, so they are not the typical clone junk... these are VERY close to the G10's and at $8.50/head, a steal. The heads might be not quite as nice as the original, but the shafts are MUCH better than any Ping standard, so the result is, for around $180 total, a better stick. High quality stainless, the ball explodes off the faces.
For you guys looking to save a lot of money, the Kent sports clone is a super way to get same or better performance for a whole lot less!
Cheers! Customer Service: I think that Kent sports has a lifetime guarantee on the driver heads, maybe the same for the irons? Similar Products Used: G10 and rapture.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping G 10 Summary: Upgraded from a Titleist 983 this summer and tried Taylormade Burner, Cleveland, Callaway FTI, Cobra and the Ping G10. It is the best driver I have ever hit. Consistent, easy to aim, long and the ball just explodes off the face. Last three rounds are 75,73 and 70. For me it has been the best money I have ever spent on a club.

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Ping G10 Summary: I ordered these with 2.5 degrees up-right (green-dot) and added .5" to the length of the shaft and midsize grips (I'm 6'3"). I also ordered the graphite shafts. These are very forgiving if his slightly off center (which I do a lot). They are also very consistent in their range even if hit off center. I have to give the credit to the whole club shaft, grip and build. They aren't the prettiest clubs, but I don't believe I could care any less about that. Customer Service: I ordered them with the help of Golf Galaxy in Tucson, AZ on a Sunday and they were ready to pick up Friday. Similar Products Used: I3 blades = too tough
G2 standard lie and length = didn't get as much improvement as I would have hoped.
