Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Callaway FT Irons Summary: Best clubs I've ever hit. I've owned Miura's, 3 sets of Pings, Titleists and now these and I just cant get over how they feel. I feel no vibration at all and my distance is right on. I too, was very reluctant to go to Callaway view them as far too corporate but I was wrong. Customer Service: Fantastic. Ordered them with the wrong shafts for me and they had them back to me in a week at no charge.

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: FT Irons Summary: Traded in my Mizuno MX-19's with great trepidation, but after hitting these I know I made the right decision, even with the ridiculous price difference! These clubs line up over the ball amazingly well, and I feel very little vibration on contact. Distance control takes a little getting used to, about 10-yards longer than I was prior to using them. Off-center hits don't kill you direction-wise, but your distance will suffer slightly. Straightest clubs I have every hit, I have resisted trying Callaway in the past, but I am glad I decided to switch!

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Callaway FT irons Summary: Callaway keeps coming up with clubs that produce more consistent shots. Last year I switched to the FT5 driver (stiff/ draw), and watched my drives become longer (by 30-40yards) and straighter. This year I traded in my fusion irons for a short set of ft irons (stiff graphite) (5-PW).
The ft irons are narrower at the top, longer in the blade, and weighted slightly more in the toe and heal. The result was great: tremendous spin, ridiculous height, and about 5-10 yards more in distance for each club.
I read with interest another review here which disliked these clubs before I tested them. The other reviewer complained that he felt "vibration." My experience was just the opposite. The clubs seem to scoop the ball and glide right through the impact. I also was able to work the clubs into both draw and fade shots simple by shifting my hands at address. At a normal address, the clubs hit very straight and the balls spin dramatically to a short stop.
These clubs are expensive, but well worth it.
Nice job Callaway!!!! Similar Products Used: I also purchased the new FT draw 3wd and 5wd. My 5 wood went consistently 230-240 yards, which for me is about 20 yards longer than the old ERC woods.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Callaway FT irons (2008) Summary: 3-4 handicap golfer who has hit a wide variety of different irons (Ping I-10, Callaway X-forged, Mizuno MP 60, 57 and 32 to name just a few. These Callaway FT irons are FANTASTIC! Extremely long and very easy to hit. I put at least ten yards on to every club. Excellent playability with exceptional feel although not as sensitive as forged blade, but still quite good. Nice appearance, especially the top edge. No problem with thermoplastic inserts. If you're a low to mid handicapper and looking for a club that's easy to hit, responsive and LONG....you need to take a serious look at the 2008 Callaway FT irons. I did and dumped my beloved Pings and my Mizunos (I cant believe I'm saying this)!!
