i use a non-insert putter. the only issue might be durability, as the cover on these is very soft- i scuffed one and had some cover in the grooves of my 9-iron (ci7, conforming grooves) after a full swing tee shot. better players who use (and pay for) tour balls on a regular basis probably expect some of this, though. again, seeing that orlimar is but a shadow of its former self, i didnt expect much more than a glorified range ball. | Auto Glass Repair of Boston

As a club professional I have unlimited access to all the best golf balls at no cost. Last season played callaway hex black tour. In march I was approached by a good friend and salesman in the industry. I was preparing for a week in hilton head to play golf. Needless to say he removed my dozen callaway and put in the orlimar 318uc. Its no looking back now. 5 of the best rounds consecutively I have shot since college golf. THIS BALL IS FOR REAL. ORLIMAR IS BACK. great distance, soft around the greens and generates as much spin as prov1. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE NEW ORLIMAR PRODUCTS...DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK THEM OUT.
