Scratch Golfer Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Tour Irons Summary: Ive read through the reviews on the rest of the page but i cant seem to understand the bad feed back.
I have used these clubs for over 5 years now and their a must have. Ive played with them as an 18 handicaper right to the point i joined the pga.
They have helped me develop my iron play immensly and its down to these clubs partialy why i hit such great irons.
If your looking for a great Iron that make you play the shot right out the middle its this. it leaves little margin for error so you have to get better or go with an easier option. lets face it though if you dont like blades you wont like these and i think thats more what everyone else is trying to say.
so for the low handi cappers with good iron play. when you catch the sweet spot you'll hit a 6 iron 190 yds easy with a beautiful sound, feel and trajectory. I would NEVER sell my set. Similar Products Used: Recently bought the titleist ZM irons got a set of Mizuno T Zoids.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Tour Irons Summary: A very unforginging club that cost me distance.
When you hit them out of the middle they fell teriffic. If slightly miss hit then they don't go anywhere.

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Burner Tour Summary: I was looking to upgrade my irons, without breaking the bank. I read a lot of the reviews here before I purchased the clubs. I was a bit sceptical from reading the various reviews from the lower handicappers. My worries were alleviated as soon as I pulled the 8 iron out and hit it for the 1st time. It felt great. The club had a ton of pop and the ball flew straight as an arrow; worked great with my fade too. It's going to take some time to dial in the yardages, but all in all, they feel fantastic. Had some ugly mis hits, but the rewards far outweigh the drawbacks. If you get a chance to buy these clubs, especially for the price I did, don't think twice; you won't be disappointed. Shoots in the 80s
, from Lawrenceville, GA, Gwinnett Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Burner Tour Summary: I have been playing these clubs for nearly 5 years. When I was playing regularly and getting some practice these clubs proved to be the best. I could work the ball low, high, left, right effortlessly. BUT if you dont practice a lot and work on your game dont waist your time with these very unforgiving clubs. The avg weekend golfer (which is what I am now) will suffer overall. mis hits are UGLY. Customer Service: Golfsmith is ok, only complaint is that they could have 'fitted' me for my clubs. After two years I realized I needed my shafts lengthened and larger gripts after my twin was fitted with PING clubs by a PGA club pro. Who knows if I have the right lie angle. Shoots in the 100s
, from LONDON, ENGLAND Model Reviewed: taylor made burner 2 iron Summary: WOW,
JUST BOUGHT A BURNER TOUR 2 IRON LAST WEEK, AS NOT THAT COMFORTABLE WITH USING WOODS OFF FAIRWAYS. BEEN TO THE DRIVING RANGE, WHICH WASN'T THAT CONCLUSIVE, HOWEVER THE LAST 2 TIMES I'VE USED IT ON THE COURSE IT'S AWESOME. AS NOTED IN THE LEVEL OF PLAYER BOX I'M HITTING IN THE 100 + AREA, AS JUST RECENTLY RE-STARTED AFTER A 10 YEAR BREAK, HOWEVER THIS CLUB IS FANTASTIC. THE OTHER DAY I WAS AROUND 240-250 YARDS OUT ON THE FAIRWAY FACING A SLIGHT INCLINE TO THE HOLE. HIT SWEET AND MANAGED TO GET WITHIN 20 YARDS OF THE GREEN. YESTERDAY OFF THE TEE, FACING A PAR 3 208 YARDS, WAS A LITTLE UNCERTAIN WHETHER TO GO WITH THE 2 OR A 3 IRON. CHOSE THE 2 TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION I MAY NOT GET A PERFECT CONTACT. OOPS, GOT A PERFECT CONTACT. NICE HIGH TRAJECTORY, HIT THE BACK OF THE GREEN, UNFORTUNATELY BOUNCED OFF AND WENT 10 YARDS BEHIND, AGAIN ANOTHER 230-40 YARDS OFF AN IRON!!. HAVING TO RE-ADJUST CLUB SELECTIONS NOW. FOR SOMEONE OF MY STANDARD THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING, ESPECIALLY AS RECENTLY A SHOP PRO RECKONED HE GETS AS FAR AS 240 YDS ON A GOOD DAY WITH A NEW CALLAWAY 2 IRON (BIG BERTHA?? @ £79), HOWEVER FOR THOSE OUT THERE THAT HIT BETTER PROABALY YOU MAY BE EXPECTING THIS, IF NOT GO FOR IT!. ALSO THERE IS GOOD FEEDBACK WHEN STRIKING THE BALL. YOU KNOW IMMEDIETALY IF IT'S NOT ON THE SWEETSPOT, ALSO HELPED BY THE SOUND WHICH IS PROBABLY NOT UNLIKE HITTING THE BALL WITH A HOLLOW PLANK OF WOOD AND THE BALL DOES NOT TRAVEL THAT FAR. I WILL BE KEEPING THIS CLUB FOR SOME TIME AS I AM SURE THAT BY NOT HAVING A MORE GENEROUS SWEETSPOT O/S - MORE FORGIVING TYPE CLUB, THIS CLUB WILL MAKE ME STRIKE THE BALL BETTER AND AS A RESULT I WILL LEARN BY THE MISTAKES. THE REWARDS ARE JUST TOO HIGH NOT TO TRY AND TRY AND GET IT RIGHT EACH TIME.
IF THE REST OF THE IRONS ARE AS GOOD AS THIS ONE I CAN DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS MODEL. I AM ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A 1 IRON, HOWEVER MY OTHER CLUBS ARE WILSON STAFF TOUR BLADES FG55's, WHICH I'M ALSO VERY HAPPY WITH. THE COMBINATION HELPED ME GET MY BEST EVER 9 HOLE SCORE (40 ON PAR 33) YESTERDAY EVENING WHILE RUSHING AGAINST FADING DAYLIGHT.
LOOKING FORWARD TO IMPROVING ON THIS IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE. Customer Service: NO CONTACT Similar Products Used: MAXFLI INTEGRA, WILSON 1200, WILSON STAFF TOUR FG55
