Summary: Words cannot describe how pissed off I am. Over the past year, I have spent thousands of dollars trying to find the magic head. I compete in long driving events and have been disappointed with everything, EVERYTHING!
I recently hit my friends 320J and fell about 10 yards short of my low degree long driver. This club is insane. I have decided to sell every driver I own an soley invest into this club. I will be buying everyone I can find and reshafting and changing the loft.
Just to give you an idea, I use a cleveland hibore 8.5 degree for the course. Using a 10 degree bazooka with a piece of crap shaft theoretically should fall shorter actually exceeds my hibore by 25-35 yards. I don't know if I should sell my hibore at this point because I just bought it but it seems logical.
Honestly, I don't understand but I really don't care. Buy this damn club!

Summary: I originally bought this driver for my 14 year old son. He was just getting into the game a bit and figured at around $40, he could have a titanium driver at a good price. I hit it on occasion but pretty much stuck with my Adams Redline 460 stiff. I got good distance and fair accuracy (more me and the Aldila nv stiff shaft than anything...I recently sold it for a reg. flex Fuji...waiting to receive it.) Which brings me to this review....in the interim, I've been using my son's (Tour Edge) driver. WOW! Same ball (Hogan tour apex red), same bad swing, same everything but MUCH longer and easier to control than the Redline! In my league yesterday, I hit "best drives ever" on 2 of the nine holes...one too good and into a creek front of the green (had to drop, penalty, and still par'd). My son may be out of luck!!! You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you don't go on Ebay and snatch one up and compare it to what you're hitting...for the price you can't go wrong. If you don't like it, just sell it to someone else that reads these reviews!

Summary: I originally bought this club for $40 with a UST Regular Flex Shaft. I hit the club against a number of others I own (equipment junkie that I am) and really liked it on clean hits but I hooked the stink out of it on too many shots to put it in play.
I reshafted with a UST ProForce 75 ACCRA model (different than the gold/purple ones) and the difference is amazing. The head is very hot and I prefer the 320cc size. It produces a boring trajectory and has a ton of oomph. With the shaft it has lent a bunch of consistency.
For the price you can't beat it.

Summary: Thought I'd add a few thoughts to the other excellent reviews for this driver. Mine came in 9* loft, with a 45.5 inch, firm flex Grafalloy shaft. The club played a total of 47 inches which was a little long for me at 5'8", but I started hitting some bombs with it right out of the box. I felt like I had to make swing changes for it to work for me though due to the length and soft tip. I think this combo would work great for anyone with a smooth, moderate swing speed of around 100mph.
My problem was that as I tried to gain comfort with it and get more aggressive, I couldn't control direction at all. My best feeling swings turned into big hooks, and when I tried to ease off a bit I'd hit ballooning pushes. I also felt that I was hitting it too high, with 265-280 yards of carry but very little roll.
It was frustrating to not find the fairway with this bomber because I knew it was adding about 30 yards over my old driver. I solved the problem by reshafting with a 44.5" Graphite Design YS-6 in SX flex. This is also a lively shaft but much more stable and a full degree lower in torque (3.5 to 4.5). Since the change I rarely miss a fairway and my ball flight and roll distance have improved a ton.
I'm thrilled with this combo. I can play controlled fades and draws but it's also very easy to keep it low and straight into the wind. I've been hitting at least 7 of 10 fairways since the switch and am using driver on many holes that I never dared to before.
I recommend the stock Grafalloy shaft to taller players and those who don't swing too hard or quickly. I don't like the UST shafts that are an option, so I'd recommend that harder hitters buy with the intent of reshafting with a Graphite Design, Aldila, Penley or different Grafalloy shaft.
I've tested this thing repeatedly against my friend's 975J with stiff Pro-lite shaft. It is waaay more forgiving and longer by about 10 yards for me

Summary: I have been a Bazooka operator for several years having owned the original green model. When I first saw the 320J in 2000 I balked at the price. Two years later I bought a 320J 8 deg UST75 stiff from Golf Vortex via eBay. It was like swinging a plank - horrible. It was so bad that I returned it for a 9 deg UST65 Regular. That was an overcompensation for my swingspeed and I had to really manipulate my swing to make it center fire properly; but when it worked, it was alluring. I still did not like the UST shaft. I had enjoyed my old Bazooka and I wanted to believe in the 320J so I persisted. I had avoided the 46.5" Grafaloy shaft - just sounded too long for my 5'9" size. But, after reading the Ham 'n Egg review I borrowed a 9 deg 46.5" S from a local shop and went to the range. First hit was my longest, straightest drive ever. I emptied the bucket in similar fashion. I have now purchased the 46.5 Grafaloy S in 10 Deg and am having a hoot firing irons at par 5s in 2. The only other driver that comes close in performance for me is the Ping Si3 in S stock shaft - a very nice club but at 8 times the price! I am very happy to stay out of fashion with the 'old' 320J Technology. Lesson learned - the right shaft for your swing is critical and I am sure makes the difference between those of us who call this weapon a '5' and those who tossed it aside. Thanks Tour Edge and Golf Vortex -I am now thrilled to have the "Ultimate Distance Weapon" in my bag.
Customer Service: Very good - knowledgeable people.
