Accuracy is comparable to my favored milled non-insert putters: Bettinardi, Scotty Cameron Circa 62 and Odyssey Black Series. The KC1 has a very soft feel for a non-insert putter.
As for negatives, the Wilson KC putters are heavier than standard putters, even with the lightest weights installed. To accommodate the weighting system in the shaft of the club, the handle is thick, with thickness comparable to an oversized grip on a standard shaft. Many may benefit from the slower tempo that a heavier putter encourages and the thicker grip that resists wrist action, but I prefer a more standard setup.
Overall, this club offers top-level performance at a fantastic price.

What a putter combination! I have the KC2 semi mallet and the weight really makes a tremendous difference.
I play in the mid 70's but my putting has mostly come down to 2 putts due to pulls left.
Fortunately, My driver and iron play have kept me low and on the greens. But alas, the putter has been my nemesis. Almost yip-like.
The weight in the grip really slowed down my tempo and with the size of the grip there was little if any twisting going on. They adjusted the lie angle of the iron to 8 degrees flat based on my putting stance, and it really feels good. I am no longer trying to fight a putter that feels too upright. Remember that we are talking putters here, not irons. 9 degrees is the legal limit for putter as per the USGA.
I have found the KC2 to be a very responsive putter and if I miss, I'm within 5 inches of the hole more often than not.
I was putting for eagle on a par 5 today and while I missed a 20 foot putt, the line felt true, solid, and the distance was right on, I just aimed a touch left, and settled for birdie after a lip out.
It's a great putter and Wilson seems to be on a comeback after having built hack sticks for the past few years.
They now also seem to be catoring to the single digit handicapper with their new irons as well.
This is one excellent putter.
In store I compared it to the Guerin Rife "Dana" model, and the Wilson won out, hands down.
Price-wise, this putter dials in at $179, much lower that a Guerin Rife and in my opinion, a concept that goes beyond the RIfe.

Wilson has done a really nice job creating a nice package with the Kirk Currie series. From the high quality leather headcover and weight pouch to the smooth black finish of the putter itself. It all looks stunning yet very classy. The weight system works perfectly. Counterweighting by putting weights in the grip works really well. I currently have a 60 gram weight in the grip and the heaviest weight in the head of the putter. The feel is not as soft as some of the newer insert putters out there, but it was a feel that I wanted. I was having trouble with distance control with some of the soft-insert putters I tried.
Customer Service: Wilson has incredible service. I asked them about perhaps cutting down the putter to 34" in length. They presented me with multiple options of where to send it to and also gave me a phone number for any putter-technical questions I had.
Similar Products Used: I have tried essentially everything out there.
