Description The Pipe putter is one solid block of alignment aide that shows precisely where you are aimed from any position and any distance on the green. The diameter of the PIPE section of the putter is identic...
Summary: This is an excellent putter. For my stroke this putter has the perfect feel, and I get the distance that I visualize. I tended to leave putts short with the Odyssey (soft face), and long with the MacGregor (harder face) but the pipe putter fit somewhere in the middle. This putter has definitely improved my alignment on both long and short putts. I liked the alignment of the Odyssey as well, but aligning the Pipe putter just seems faster, easier, and has better results. If you can get around the looks of this putter, you will probably be happy with it. My only complaint is that the headcover used velcro instead of a magnet.

Summary: I buy new putters all the time but this 0004 pipe is the best putter by far. I'm going to buy the new pipe 11 0004 they added a sight line this should help even more.

Summary: Let me start by saying that I am not a very good putter. I stay in the high 70's normally with the irons and chipping. But, since I picked this up from a local used golf store for $69 like new, my putting has improved dramatically... especially the 10' and in putts.
The alignment aid looks like a piece of PVC, but I don't care in the least, because it is the best alignment aid I have found, and I have tried some really expensive putters: Rife, Cameron, Never Comp Exchange, most Pings and on and on.
Construction seems very solid, so hopefully no problems, as some here have had with the first models. Insert feels great, and the roll imparted is very smooth. Distance control is really good. Came with factory Winn AVS, nice feel.
I buy sell and trade too much, but I think this putter is in the bag for a long time... it is not gimmicky, it is very straightforward, despite it's odd look. If you have any problems in your putting game, this one is well worth a close look!
Customer Service: NA, but I hear it is very good.

Summary: I have used blades all my life thinking it is the only way to putt. Refused everything until one day my friend took my new Scotty on hole #1 and gave me his Nickent Pipe in exchange. I will never give it back to him. It has amazing feel and balance throughout the swing and just lets the ball go with a nice roll from the face. Never putted better. But don't fool yourself, you have to practice this before dreaming a new putting record.

Summary: I tried it in a proshop and dropped 10 for 10 from 10' or better. Forgot about it and tried again at another shop..same result and had the kids buy it for my 50th. Definitely reduced my scores into the 70's by making the short par putts from 4'. Absolutely love it on all types of speeds of greens (winter or summer). Highly recommended.
