Description The entire Studio Style line of putters is the optimal blend of high-performance and classic design. The Newport Studio Style model is no exception. The Studio Style series, new for 2005, incorporates...
Summary: Crisp feel at impact, well balanced, overall solid putter. Camerons are meticulously constructed, high quality putters and the price tag shows, lol. My small issues with this putter is the unfriendly hard grip, and the velcro on the headcover grazes and possibly scratches the putter with each on and off. (Scotty needs to modernize with magnetic, less puffy covers like the odyssey black series covers). Other than that, a very confidence inspiring putter, highly recommend!
Similar Products Used: Bettinardi CO3 (nice putter), odyssey Black Series (very appealing, was stuck between this and the Studio Style), Tri Hot (very smooth, the head was a bit small for me).

Summary: I have been looking for a putter which removes all doubt from my mind as to which is at fault, the putter or me. i have finally found the answer, scotty cameron. The level of care put into the construction and the R&D put into the design allows me to just stroke the ball and not worry about faults out of my control. I used to have a rossa daytona 1, a nice putter which I made plenty of puts with but i always knew it had a tendeny to go left with my stroke. I almost had to cut puts to get them on line. Scotty just rolls out straight. The feel is more solid as well, you have to be a pretty bad putter to be consistently getting a horrible feel out of it. If this putter feels horrible you're obviously missing the insert which to me feels pure all over and thats a pretty big miss. Go to the 2-ball if thats the case. Otherwise take a look at the scotty instead of guying a new driver, you use it more times that a driver per round and unlike a bad drive its impossible to recover from a bad putt, once it misses you can't get that stroke back.
one point though, unless you have miniture hands replace the scotty grip, its a shocker which is unfortunate as the rest of the putter is pure.

Summary: I used to putt with the Ping G5i Zing, and I am so happy I made the switch to the scotty. I am being recruited by many different colleges and universities for golf, and putting has ailed me in the past so I knew I needed something that will give me me better feel and more confidence. The Studio Style Newport is by far the best putter in terms of feel and feedback. However, I would not recomend this putter to the higher handicapper due to its precise sweet spot. Also, it can take a chunk out of ones wallet with a price at around $300. If you want to improve putting and have the time to get better and practice-then this putter is the one for you.
Customer Service: Never used.

Summary: Very solid feel at impact off of the stainless steel insert. Puts great roll on the ball and swings very smoothly. Tough to hit off-line, and doesn't have the mechanical look of other putters like the Newport 2, in case you aren't too fond of the mechanical look.
I can't give 5 stars value rating to a $300 putter, but this will take strokes off your game faster than any $300 driver will.
Customer Service: excellent phone response, no actual repair work experience though
