Bettinardi BB23 Summary:
Bettinardi BB23 center shafted; 34 inches. What an incredible putter. Has tremendous balance, thus results in tremendous feel on the greens. Distance control is second nature with this putter. Puts struck not on center still find their way to the hole. While I can still 3 putt with it (only 1 in my last round) I find myself 1 putting more often (4 of those; and not gimmies) in my last round. This putter inspires confidence (the most important element in putting if you have the basics down)and results in putts that are closer or now, in. It is a half mallet and is probably a tad heavier than some (particularly the Scotty Cameron blades) but this is a superior putter and I have played with most of the popular Scotties. Becoming hard to find and getting up there in price as the speculators are now snapping them up. If you can find one, buy it without hesitation. Customer Service:

Bettinardi BB24 Summary:
Bettinardi Golf touts the BB24 as having the best features of all their favorite classic putters. (By the way, the current picture shown is of a BB23, not a BB24.) This putter has an excellent classic shape and comes in either the satin nickel or black thunder finish. I bought both but sold the black one because I like the nickel finish, couldn't see any difference in performance, and because the black one sells for more. This putter has a soft and solid feel but the sweetspot is very small, so you had better have a really consistent stroke to use this putter effectively. The patented honeycomb face does appear to get the ball rolling very quickly. The putterhead sits very square and is extremely easy to line up. The shaft connects closer to the center of the clubface than most classic putters of this genre, but despite appearances it is not close to being face-balanced. With about a 1/4 hang it is a nice compromise between heel and face balancing. It has a medium-heavy feel and is obviously tailored for best performance on faster greens. All in all, this model is comparable to any Cameron putters I have seen. A little overpriced at full retail, in my opinion, but it's a great buy if you can find one for $200 or less. As with all Bettinardi putters, you can't beat the classy look--in terms of apparance, Bettinardis are the Rolls Royce of putters. Similar Products Used:
