Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: m6.4k Summary: First off, I bought this sight unseen. I had read a fair bit about the putter and have had very very good experiences with other Macgregor gear so what the hell.
I unwrapped it from the box and bubble plastic it came in and my goodness was it ugly!!!
I had some serious reservations. But still I took it out on a first date to the golf course.
When you look at it, it is shaped roughly like a old racing pedal on a bicycle. Hardly confidence inspiring.
Without a practice green even being open I pulled it out on the first hole from 8ft away to save a double bogey (one had gone missing into the woods already). BINGO!
the next hole 10 footer for birdie. Bingo! Already the putter was becoming the PEDAL OF METAL!!! as my golf partners started to take notice. After I was 1 over par by the 5th hole after a 6 month winter layoff. I decided to take the plastic off the bottom of the club. It is staying with me.
Hardly a classic design but a very sweet feeling putter deadly 10 feet and in. I am not sure about it from long range yet, but i can't really blame the hardware for that!!! Similar Products Used: mizuno tp mills (great)
numerous pings
really its a long list

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: MacGregor M6.4k Summary: V-Foil putter is phenomenal! Handicap index has dropped from 11.5 to 8.7- alignment is easy, putter has crisp feel and is heavy enough to create steady pendulum like stroke. No wonder its won a numer of majors (VJ, Retief.) Customer Service: No used Similar Products Used: TM Monza (Belly version), Two-ball

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: MacGregor M6.4k Summary: I am a big fan of mallet putters. I've used the Odyssey 2 Ball for about 2 years with fairly decent results; and much better than a blade. Since purchasing the M6.4k, I've had a 100% success rate with putts under 5 foot - mind you, the conditions have been ideal. In my opinion, the M6.4k is easier to line up than the Odyssey, which, from my experience, is the key to a succesful put. It wasn't that long ago that I was shooting in the 100's. Great work Bobby.
