Never Compromise Sub 30 S2 Putter

Summary:
After seeing that my Scotty Cameron Center Shafted Prototype putter was selling for over $500 bucks on Ebay, I decided to give it an early retirement since the last thing I wanted was for it to be stolen,lost or damaged. I saw this in Ebay for 10 bucks and decided to bid on it since other were going for 40 bucks. Well, best 10 bucks I ever spent! feel so close to my Cameron and the stroke feels a little better since it is heavier. Alignment is super easy, distance will also come along since if you dont hit in the insert, you come up long or short (but again, thats with any club) I highly reomend it and am already looking for a second one to have as a invcestement. As for my SCotty Cameron, it is safely in my den, who know how much it be worth in my old age.

Summary:
In the store this putter was the best of 15 to 20 that I tried. Almost everything went in on the astroturf.
Ive now had it in my bag for 3 months of golf and I love this putter. The alignment is easy to get right and the head stays nicely on path through impact. The winn grip that matches the black grey head color scheme is very nice in the hands but the beauty of the club is the head. All my 3-5 footers are so natural now its easy (and 3 putts are gone. The head has a bit of heft but this seems to help keep things moving smooth. The long, long putts are coming around too but that took ore time to get used to with changing from a hard faced putter.

Summary:
After trying dozens of left handed putters (not an easy task, especially with Titleist and Ping), I picked up a Ping Craz-E putter and was headed to the register. There was a wait, so I stepped back to the putting area and saw this putter hidden behind others, tried a few putts, and promptly put the Ping down and bought this one (used). The center shaft seems to make the difference (I have a tendency to push putts); the alignment is very intuitive, making it fast and easy to be accurate with your stroke (I like a line instead of balls to align with), and the ball doesn't skid first before it starts rolling. Distance control is great (when you hit the sweet spot, a bit short if you don't), with most of my long putts coming to within a foot of the hole. The plastic insert doesn't really feel soft, and the grip is a pleasure to hold. I bought an Odyssey White Steel 2-ball and ended up taking it back - it was great for straight level putts, but I couldn't play breaks to save my a--, and so spent way too much time trying to line it up.

Summary:
Up until recently I had been playing with a Z1 Delta but had the tendancy to not get the face squuare at impact. I moved to 'another brand' centre shafted model to try and overcome this but didn't make a single one putt and on one round 3 putted on seven holes. I know bad workman and tools... but drastic action was required. I went back to the Never Compromise range as the Black-Gray-Black seems to suit me but the question was which one. I went through the majority of their stock but ended up settling for the Sub30 S2. The centre shaft was the draw but the feel is exceptional and alignment gives you great confidence. Sure enough the single putt's are now returning and I'll be using this for a long time to come.

Summary:
I had the new Ping G2 Anser with Insert and liked it, but switched to this Never Compromise Putter and since the switch 3 months ago I have easily saved 5 strokes a round with this stick. I agree with the previous reviewer. It's easy to align putts with and the insert gives great feedback (feel and sound). I've noticed that distance control is phenomenal! The Ping putter was really only outstanding on super fast PGA type greens. Otherwise I was constantly leaving them short. Not with the Never Compromise! Yesterday I had only 27 putts for the round, 13 on the back nine. I sunk 5 putts from 15-20+ feet. Anyway, I was going to write a review for this putter right after I bought it, but waited to see if it was a fluke. Well, it not. The neatest thing was that I picked it out of a used barrel for $40. I have tried many putters and some very expensive, but this one is the best.
