Scratch Golfer Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2.5 Summary: This product does not live up to its expectations, and not to mention its 300 dollar cost. The feel is definitely not what I was expecting from a scotty cameron. I often get a glare from the sun off of the back of the putter that is horrible in the morning. The grip that titleist installs is terrible too. I take my short game seriously and this product definitely did not seem to help. Similar Products Used: Odyssey White Hot 2-ball

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 Summary: This is not going to be a long review, why! It is just a putter. I have a reputation as a good putter but in the last 18 months it has gone down hill a bit, mainly over those shaky 18 inch to 2 footers. I have always putted well from 4 foot out, but lately have been missing a lot of shortish puts. Tried a few different putters of varying brands and styles. Picked up this Cameron Newport 2.5 putter on Ebay for a good price and am impressed with its feel and unlike one of the other reviewers I like the soft "Buttery" feel this has when it hits the ball. I find it encourages you to strike puts slightly firmer than I normally would have. Looks good, well made, good balance. The thin grip takes a little getting used to, but overall making those short ones again. Inspires confidence and really thats what it is all about, was well worth what I paid. The good thing is that if you want to sell it later, they hold there price really well. Customer Service: Not known Similar Products Used: Ping, Taylor Made and various other styles and brands

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 Summary: I have always struggled with my putting so I bought a Scotty Cameron after using various other putters. The most simular putter i used was an oddessy white steel putter which I liked fairly well. The Scotty has much better lines and feels so good in your hands. Before I would get over a putt and hope that I would just get it close now I have confidence that where I aim it will go and the feel at impact is amazing soft but crisp and the ball rolls very good. before my ball would skip and check up somtimes that never happens with the scotty.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Scotty Cameron Newport Stainless 2.5 Summary: Is there any particular reason that Titelist insists on using a pencil thin grip on this overpriced putter? Feel and distance control are not what one would expect from a putter priced this high. Found the new White Hot Steel #2 and it is clearly a better putter, not to mention saving well over a 100 bucks. Customer Service: limited; no comment Similar Products Used: Ping answer, White Hot Steel no. 2

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Titleist Scotty Cameron SS Newport 2.5 Summary: i have had this putter for two years and i can honestly say it hasnt done anything wrong. for one reason...if something goes wrong it aint the clubs fault it is yours. i am often referred to as 'the best putter at my golf club club' since i got this club. i love the design of it. it is just like the oddessey white hot #2. i have noticed a couple of other people have mentioned this and when i went to buy this club i created a shortlist of putters that i wanted to buy and they were the two! in the end i chose this. i have just been on the ping website and they are launching a new G5 series. they are releasing a putter called the G5 Tess. it looks superb. like a phil mickelson putter. i am going to try it out but i dont think it will beat this beast. the balance of this club is second to none and the same for the feel it is brilliant. putts within 10feet of the hole seem like a putt 10cm from the hole honestly. worth the hefty price tag!
