Futura Phantom Mallet 2

Summary:
Best putter I've ever used.

It's very confidence-inspiring from the top, easy to align, stable through the stroke, great looking, and has superb feel. I've tried every putter on the market, and nothing comes close to this. Some other putters feel a bit softer, look a little more classy, and offer newer technology, but performance is all that matters, and this putter performs as well or better than any other.

Yes, it's pricey, but what are lower scores worth to you? I to was iffy, seeing as how I prefer blade putters, but I couldn't argue with the results, and haven't had one regret.

I don't see myself replacing this putter anytime soon.

Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet 2

Summary:
Just purchased my Futura phantom mallet 2 and must say that I was a little hesitant at first because I never saw anyone on tour play with it on tour, but am very pleased. I have never played a mallet before but felt compelled to try this one because of the center shaft location (as oppossed to a bent shaft). The ball lines up very well and the putter has a nice, low, sleek look to it. The putter head is very stable durring the take-away and very smooth and stable durring impact and follow-thru. One thing I have noticed is that distance control is very easy with this putter, and the ball rolls the instant it leaves the club face to give truer roll which keeps the ball on-line beter. The black baby T grip is fatter than the grip I have on my newport 2 (red dancing grip)and promotes still hands and optimal thumb placement. the price may seem a little high for some (I purchased mine for $289) but it's a Scotty Cameron and you are paying for precision crafted pieces of art. if you have ever play with one you will notice a difference instantly.
