The tip on the umbrella and the foam handle are inferior. I expect much more from a PING product. The tip becomes deformed very easily and the handle becomes torn. I have gone back to the umbrella that I replaced the PING umbrella with. It has a wooden rib, tip and handle. I have had this umbrella for more than 10 years with no deteriation. It is not PING; I just wanted a PING umbrella. That was a very bad decision.
