Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: 2006 Ping 9.5 Staff Bag Summary: Have to down grade this bag a couple of notches. Workmanship is fine, and it is obviously designed for cart use rather than being carried. But while the workmanship is great there are a couple of things that obviously need to be changed.
First there is no towel ring, which I find totally amazing on a staff bag. I have yet to use a staff bag from any company that did not have this as a part of the bag. Very surprising as much less expensive carry bags have towel rings installed.
Second, while there are water bottle pockets, they are a bit small, so I guess you better buy small bottles of water.
Third, on one side of the bag there is a pocket on the side of the bag, but on the other side it is not installed. I can't quite figure out the logic of that, when it would have been easy to have that lateral pocket on both sides of the bag.
Third, there is a "coal chute" ball pocket, which is wonderful, but the accessory pocket above it is not that impressive. Maybe it "wears in" over time, but sticking your hand in there to dig something out is truly a pain. I think it is designed the way it is for the "clean lines" of the bag, but it certainly isn't as practical as some other bags out there.
These may sound like picky points, but when you are talking a 200+ dollar bag, you would expect those things to be addressed.
Overall I am okay with the bag, but these are fine points that Ping ought to look at in the future. Customer Service: Ping has always had excellent customer service. Similar Products Used: Titleist and Taylormade Staff Bags

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: Ping Staff 9.5 Summary: This is a good bag for someone who has access to a cart. The bag is big and heavy and you can actually carry too much stuff. The bag material seems to be durable but time will tell. Customer Service: Ping has great customer service. Similar Products Used: Ping Hoofer, L8 and Hoofer 2

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: 9.5 "ISI" STAFF BAG Summary: I have found this bag to be far too soft which means it is really easy to scuff, scratch or mark (trolley and car boot users beware!).
The bag's hood is far too small - with a 3 wood and 46" long driver, I have trouble zipping it up - not what you need when it’s pouring down with rain!!!!
The all the zips are too small and very poor quality - they are already starting to go "tight"
PING - LISTERN - ONE FRONT FLAP FOR THE MAIN POCKET IS STUPID!!!!! - If you have to get to something near the bottom everything has to come out. Leave a separate pocket at the front but go back to your old style bags with zips on the side as well (another pocket) - Mizuno knows how to do this!
THANK GOD I DIDN'T PAY MUCH FOR THIS BAG! Similar Products Used: MIZUNO STAFF BAG - NOW THATS HOW YOU MAKE A BAG !

Shoot in the 90s
, from Columbia, SC USA Model Reviewed: 9.5 Ping Golf (black) Summary: This bag is big and holds lots of *stuff*. It doesn't fit on a cart very well, but, I still find it does all I need and want. I've tried others and they were too small for all my clubs, balls, rain suit, valuables pouch, extra socks, etc. Well worth the $$.
