Datrek Vapor Stand Bag

Summary:
Summary: Solid construction - many small negatives
Review: The bag seems well constructed and is pretty waterproof in the rain. Fairly light to carry. Plenty of pockets for storage and organization. But has a number of small negatives. - Stand legs catch on your leg unless you pick it up a certain way. - Strap attachment loops aren't sewn on at an angle that matches the strap angle. This causes the straps to want to twist and bind when carrying. - Base is slightly too large to fit square in the back of a riding cart, so you have to turn it at an angle. - Rain hood is not waterproof. - Towel loop is on side of bag, regular size golf towel drags on the ground when the bag is set down. - 14 dividers not very useful, head covers block access to the divider below the one with the head cover making it a hassle to get clubs in and out - Bottom umbrella loop is sewn parallel to the umbrella orientation so you have to twist it with your hand to put the umbrella tip in. This particular 14 divider layout is not very functional, the interior dividers are difficult to access, and I have yet to find an arrangement of clubs that I like. Datrek's been making bags for quite awhile, its surprising that they have neglected some of these design and function details.

Update - since I reviewed this I had a leg brake while the bag was sitting in my garage. So my comment about solid construction was wrong. Since it was under 1 year old, I took it back to the store, found out Datrek went out of business and Bag Boy bought remnants. They're no longer doing service on the bag, so the store kindly gave me credit.
