Oakley Stand Bag

Summary:
No one has this bag! Nice looks, nice construction, exclusive, functional, strong durable straps and construction. The few problems that I experienced are: 1) Little heavier than other bags 2) Club separators inside the bag tore 3) They don't make them anymore. If anyone has one they don't want, let me know swingcoach@yahoo.com

stand bag

Summary:
Oakley makes 'good looking' golf products, but the quality and durability are sorely lacking and their stand golf bag is no exception. I bought this bag because I wanted something that 1)Is Functional and 2) Unique on the course, in terms of look and brand. Only #2 was met. The stand apparatus on this bag is pathetic, bows easily, pops off the hinges. It has reach the point where I have to gently set my bag down (much like a baby in a baby carrier) before I line up my next shot to avoid breaking it. I have also used their golf glove. I bought several at once and they all literally...literally fell apart after less than five uses.
Oakley golf gear looks great, that's what attracted me, but it obviously is not a priority for them.
I bought the bag this summer (2006), and I just bought myself a new Nike bag this Christmas.
So the Oakley bag can sit in my garage, holding an old set of clubs and looking good I guess.

Customer Service:
Contacted customer service about the bag, they were non-chalant, didn't really seem to care. This is what made me think golf is not a priority for this company.

The new Nike bag I bought (Sasquatch), blows away the Oakley bag both in terms of quality and functionality.

Oakley Golf Bag

Summary:
Good bag, nice size pockets that are easy to get to, lots of room, clubs go in and out easy, good stand, great back-pack style strap, very comforatable, easy to get in and out off, only draw back is the bag is a little bit heavier than other walking bags. Best of all, your the only one on the course with one!
